My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. We may be closing the meadow on various days to do clean up and build some fun new things for the dogs and you! We have a couple areas for your to explore. A smaller area with shelter and taller fencing that is lit up at night. Or you can go through the gate to our "wilder" area to the left of the barn. Please note the entire SS accessible property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot. To access the fenced acreage walk to the left of the Barn and look for the "Guest Entrance" sign on the gate.

My dog argo is friendly so if we're home we'll try playing if that's okay with you and if they aren't playing together nicely I can put Argo inside till you're done. My home is secured by ADT so do not attempt to enter home. sorry no public bathroom. The house and yard is also being recorded by video and audio footage at all times. Hope you and your dog can enjoy our yard and I'll try and have balls out there to throw but I swear they disappear into thin air.

Seth’s backyard was the perfect space for our pup. I felt comfortable knowing the space was fully fenced in, especially where it was Knox’s first time off of the leash. The water left out for us was clearly fresh, since there was only the thinnest layer of ice on top in very chilly weather. Seth even put a gate up blocking park of the deck so that over-enthusiastic doggos like Cass couldn't wander up to the sliding door and potentially see the pup staying at the house right now. Thank you so much for leaving out a trash can and fresh water! Cole is awaiting adoption at the Animal Refuge League, and he really benefits from time outside the shelter. He was tired when we left (photo for reference :)) He zoomed a ton and enjoyed all the new smells. Thank you for the very clear directions and for making sure your pup was out of sight. I wasn’t sure if I closed the black iron gate correctly because it just seemed to open with a push rather than the handle turning, so I tied it shut with a rope while we were in there since Cole is a jumper.
