Dave is incredible! He called to give me more clear directions than what the GPS says, he changed the time for me when I was running late, and he helped me when I forgot what he told me earlier about the directions! The property incredible. I had very happy pups. Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time here! My dog loved chasing the squirrels and all the smells. Follow the cones for the trails. I was confused at first by this but Dave was great and helped me with this. We will definitely be back!!

A good drive from KCK but worth it. I’d like to come back and stay much longer. Junk yard view at one point, with some industrial noise; probably would be disguised in summer. The trails aren’t marked and they go all over the place and I found that stressful, worrying I might get lost. I made us little signposts with fallen wood as a guide for getting back. Importantly, my youngest and oldest had a blast (I should put a bell on all of them. I brought along a bag to carry my middle kid when she needed it. It’s fairly rugged and I liked that but might be tough with little human kids. Dave called to give better directions than my GPS would have and that was kind and useful. Definitely a place I’ll return to with my youngest and I’ll give us more time to explore.

Our three Goldens had a great time running and playing in the steams! Great property with nice wide trails and easy access to the water for the dogs to cool off. The host was very kind and helpful as well! The perfect spot to wear out active dogs.

Beautiful day to hike and play in the creek. Dave was so hospitable and gracious with his wonderful property. My reactive Rottweiler enjoyed time on his long lead and was so relaxed. I was able to relax as well knowing no other animals or people would be around the corner. Thanks Dave! We will be back!

Our dog had the best time at Dave’s! The directions he gave made it so easy to get there. We hiked for about an hour and my dog is exhausted! He loved all the creeks and exploring off leash. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic place to take your pups. Your dog can be a dog and roam everywhere. Trails are a variety of intermediate to a little strenuous, you choose. If your dog loves the water, there is a pretty continuous stream with no signs of the harmful algae so I felt comfortable to let my Aussie wade all through it. Terrific place if you love the outdoors. Use Apple Maps if possible. Google maps will take you down the wrong road. Dave was a great host, very responsive when Google maps took me t down the wrong road. Thanks Dave! Highly recommend!

What an incredible property! To start with, it’s just a beautiful spot for humans to hike. So many natives were blooming during my visit - saw countless wild phlox, wild ginger, trout lily, mayapples and pawpaw. And our dogs had a blast - the creek was flowing, and they enjoyed dunking themselves to cool off. The trails are really fun and full of a lot of elevation change. Felt very secluded. We even saw deer hop over the creek (my dogs were excited but didn’t give chase; something to be aware of).

Beautiful, hilly glade setting. Spring flowers are just getting started. Quiet and plenty of room to run, splash and sniff all over. Our dogs loved it, we will be booking again.

Great trail for humans and dogos! Everyone was happy to enjoy the freedom of being off leash. Just be careful where you park. There’s a ditch that we go stuck on because of the mud.

This was a a great place to go especially if you have a dog that is aggressive due to high anxiety of other people. It allowed us to work with Junior on a leash and also reward him with having fun running through some trails. We will definitely be going back often. It was worth the drive from Olathe to Smithville.
