We had a fantastic time and it was worth the drive. The directions for parking and entering the Sniffspot were clear and easy to follow. The Sniffspot was securely fenced and very well maintained! I brought hiking boots and a towel because I wasn’t sure what to expect and neither were needed. On site we found poop bags provided, water, and toys. I believe I even saw a small first aid kit. Absolutely we will be visiting again!

Very nice space, my pups had a fantastic time and had enough space to run at top speed! It’s fully fenced so my aussies couldn’t escape. Host had toys, poop bags, and even a box with bug spray, first aid, and a number of other things. Very thoughtful. The grass was cut for about 3/4 of the space. I was afraid it was going to be muddy after yesterday’s rain, but it wasn’t, just a couple of puddles that my pups found. There’s really horses in the next pasture.

I was first concerned for ticks with the tall grass (didn't do my research) but the host has a basket out there with first-aid things, tick spray etc - lifesaver! My dog who is known for jumping fences was well contained by the enclosure, there was access to a hose to grab more water for the dogs and we got to see a beautiful horse who was hanging in the next fenced in area. Beautiful property. Fully fenced in. There are horses within view in the adjacent pen, so keep that in mind if you have a dog that would react to a horse. Mine was perfectly fine with the horses; their neutral demeanor was very helpful! There was some farm animal excrement in the Sniffspot yard that my dog kept trying to eat and roll in, so be mindful. If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
