Named after my sweet heeler Honey Pie, the Honey Spot is a sweet fully fenced quarter acre yard with some big trees in a convenient location (Guilford Hill neighborhood). The back is lined with 6 ft wooden fencing, and the rest with 4 ft chain link fencing. There is plenty of room for your pup to run around and play safely! There are no weak spots in any of the fencing. Parking is on the street, just walk up the driveway (being careful not to walk up my neighbor’s driveway which is closer to the street corner). You’ll see the gate at the end of the driveway. Poop bags, water, had sanitizer and tennis balls are provided.

There are plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. There are plenty of other Sniffspots that will suit your reactive dog’s needs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned and heated interior room with refrigerator, microwave and snacks to purchase. We have comfortable furniture including a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, zero gravity recliner, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We have no cameras. Your privacy is very important to us. Your dog can do nothing wrong here. Let them Dig, Bark, Sniff and Play. Everything begins at our Sunflower She Shed. You will find everything you need there. For people Extras are available such as snacks and cold drinks and frozen ice cream found in the Sunflower She Shed refrigerator/freezer. Fully fenced and partially shaded backyard in Northwest Greensboro near Highway 68 and 73 in a pretty quiet neighborhood. Close to Northwest Guilford Middle and High Schools, and Pearce Elementary. Gravel driveway with room for a few cars to park. Plenty of grass to run and play in. The yard has a gradual slope to it, not perfectly flat. There's a nice, big pavilion with a few camping chairs for people to sit in the shade, as well as, a couple of large trees to provide shade for doggie rest breaks. There are lots of sticks available for chewing or fetching. Host works from home and will stay inside unless help is requested! We're so happy to invite pet-owners and their dogs into our space and see them enjoy it as much as we do! Shelter volunteers are also welcome to bring shelter dogs for a "Dog Day Out"! This area provides ample space to play or just hang out with your dog. We are about 15 minutes outside of down town Winston-Salem. Just far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. Of course, we are bias, but the area is very peaceful. In sharing our land we hope to provide folks with a safe place that you can enjoy watching your dog explore and play. Amenties: - Dog toys / tennis balls, herding ball, and tug toys - Agility obstacles / a small set of cones and poles to jump over - Chairs / 3 lawn chairs - First aid kit / one for humans and one for dogs - Bug Spray - Hand Towels/ to dry off (no worries if they get muddy) - Wet wipes / to clean your dogs muddy paws - Poop Bags Please Note: When using the water hydrant, we are on a well! Because of being on a well we would appreciate you double checking to make sure the water is off before you depart :) We have changed the sniff spot listing slightly. Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like!
