This was so AMAZING! We just relocated to Illinois and we are in a temporary corporate apartment while our home is being built. Our pups have missed their backyard and this spot right here was perfect!!! From chasing the ball to rolling in the grass or just laying and enjoying the breeze they had a blast….but so did we!!! We found our new spot and will be back!

I have a reactive dog and a friendly dog. Both were able to play off leash without disturbance. The space is clean, well kept and free of scat! There are burs in the back brush pile for dogs with longer coats who like to go exploring! This location is fantastic and we will be back again soon!

Very easy to find. Big area for our dogs to run around in. The field was clean and mostly grass. This spot is next to a trail where people walked by , staying on the far side of the field helped avoid our reactive dogs from barking. In the way out we did see one pup outside from the business, he was quiet while we packed up. All of our dogs enjoyed their time here.

My dog loved this spot! We found the area to be as described, clean with chairs to sit and watch your pup run, well maintained fence line that borders a forest preserve, space was private though there’s a path in the forest preserve that comes near the fence where people and other dogs can pass, on our trip we experienced both people and dogs on the path which were not an issue for my reactive pup (he was able to see them but they were far enough away to avoid issues) the entrance to the park is well marked looking forward to returning.

Nice open space for the dogs to really get their zoomies out--there are other play yards connected but when we went into the park the employee kept the dogs out of the yards connected.

Had a great time with my dog here, well worth the drive from Chicago! We only saw one dog on the trail next to the field and the dog boarding building was far enough away that my mildly reactive dog had no problems with any barking we heard. Will definitely be back!

We had been traveling with the dogs for over a week and they desperately needed some off leash time to run and stretch. This 3 acre fenced field was perfect. It's secure. The field is a combination of sun and shade. I couldn't have found a better spot to let my 3 Goldens run

The fence was great all around. My dog enjoyed sniffing and off leash time there. Gate was secure and closed well so my 50lb dog wouldn’t be able to squeeze through anywhere. Good spot.

For reactive dogs there are sometimes dogs in the fenced area backing up to the sniff spot. It's our first time experiencing this as we have gone frequently, so if you have a reactive dog please keep that in mind. Beautiful spot overall.

My dogs had a great time! My lab really enjoyed sniffing around the neatly piled brush. My mastiff puppy loved zooming around the giant open area. We will definitely be back and likely with friends. * We could see the dogs in the daycare outside playing. They were maybe 75 feet away (definitely guessing on distance) so my dogs didn’t mind them at all.

This was my first Sniff Spot & Sweet Paws set a high bar! The space was very large & had small bramble forests that my dogs loved exploring. My girls found a rope toy & a couple balls as well. The host provides poop bags & a can in the event you forget yours. My fluffs ran, sniffed, and explored the entire hour. There is a dog boarding facility on property. The staff had several dogs out while we were there. I was appreciative that the dogs were far enough away that they didn't trigger my reactive dog, yet she was able to see them from a distance she considered "safe." This is great for reactivity training. At one point, a boarded dog did come up to the fence, but as soon as the staff member saw my dog, she called it back. My girls are small & fluffy, so did bring some burrs home as souvenirs, but that's evidence of a good time! There was one "hole" in the back. It's actually a gate with a gap between the fence. Both my dogs are under 10lbs and could easily have fit through. They were too busy running to notice. Just something to note if you have little dogs. I was very impressed, my dogs loved it, and we will definitely be back!

Great spot! Loved letting the dogs off leash to romp around and explore the small brush among the trees. Just a note to anyone with reactive dogs, there’s a boarding facility on site, and one side of the fence of the enclosed area runs directly along a public trail for the Richard Young Forest Preserve. Our guys met a friendly dog that they were able to come nose to nose with. There’s a gate door at the back that is locked, with a small gap, and the latch doesn’t fully connect - something to keep in mind if you have an escape artist. Amazing spot, and great accommodations. We’ll be back!
