Our little slice of heaven is certified a National Wildlife Refuge. We have a large variety of birds and pollinators. We have a walking/bike riding trail, dog sensory gardens, an orchard to pick fruit from when in season, splash pools, agility equipment, horses next door to get to know, meadows to play in and sometimes there are foster puppies to meet. We have lots of spaces for humans to enjoy too; ie firepit ara with lots of seating, a couple picnic tables and various other seating for conversation and gathering.

Welcome to Koda and I's personal paradise, featuring several horses and a donkey! Stop by and visit us as a side quest so you can relax and enjoy the view in a peaceful, quiet countryside setting both you and your dog(s) will enjoy! Choose to either kick back and let your dog go full steam ahead in the .5 acre, four foot, fully fenced pup play yard, which has been vetted by dogs small and large, puppies and seniors, and both high energy and couch potatoes alike, or do some on leash training or long lead play in the accompanying open field next to the enclosed yard. Our yard has been tested (and approved) by Pomeranians, Yorkies, Beagles, Pitties, Whippets, and all of our Sniffspot visitors, and it's even horse proof! Natural grass fills the property, with only the occasional use of weed killer along fencelines to keep up with property maintenance and stay on top of bugs. There are several huge shade trees that my pup and his friends enjoy laying under. If you are looking to desensitize your pup to horses, reach out and I may be able to arrange turn out so they can get up close and personal, while maintaining the barrier of the fence. But otherwise, the Spot and the horse pastures are completely separate from each other, giving you and your pups a chance to admire from a distance! ***Naturally treat our yard in the summer so that our guests can enjoy As a rescuer, I totally understand some dogs just can't do social (myself, most of the time too), so dog park is a No. SniffSpot is an option for those special pooches. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. Three mowed acres fully gated and fenced. Three of the four sides have 6x6 inch fence gaps, so very small dogs (<18lbs) may need to be leashed if you think they will try to escape. The fourth is regular chain-link.

2 acre field and wooded area open for exploring. Digging is perfectly fine! Trails through the wooded area and wetland area. Become one with nature or even do some bird watching. Roll around in the mud if you like and then feel free to hose off. Fire pit available on occasion.

Hidden River Farm is a 40 plus acre paradise for humans and dogs. We opened our organic orchard 6 years ago and it operates annually from June to October. So we have decided to try to open it up for use year around if possible. We welcome folks to bring their dogs out to run, retrieve, train or just play for awhile to get the energy out. There is an abundance of land. We offer a picnic area with table and chairs. Both tables offer umbrellas for shade if needed. We have water spigots so that the dogs can have clean drinking water. We also are breeders of Champion Labrador Retrievers. We have chickens, ducks, donkeys, horse and more. We are a working farm that believes sharing is a great thing these days.

We have an amazing flat backyard that is fully fenced in! We live in the country so it’s a really nice scenic route to get here full of farms and cows. There is even a vineyard nearby. We just bought this property, so how it is now is just before photo! We plan to make wonderful things out of this yard! My husbands favorite activity is to cut and maintain grass! We also have our front yard which is just as large but it’s not fenced in. It is yours to use as well it you want more walking space. There will be a kiddie pool for doggies and as many toys as we can have last in the yard for the doggies (but my pups love to destroy)! We are kinda out here so make sure to bring your favorite kind of food and drinks if you plan on visiting for the full 4 hours. The closest places are a couple of gas stations and a Dollar General. I do have snacks and bottled water! You can also buy pool time, sprinkler time, bath time (shampoo/nail clippers/ear cleaner) for additional charges. Just let me know before the visit! Also, bring any obstacle items or anything you want to place in the yard to practice with or use for your dog. Full Disclosure: We do get muddy after rain and are currently working on a solution for that!

We have 4 dogs of our own who would love to share their yard with others! We have a kiddie pool for the dogs readily available, as well as a table and chairs, and an umbrella for shade. We will make sure the pool is clean and fresh before and after each visit, and also make sure there is an ample stock of dog toys, treats and water for your fur babies to enjoy. We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. Parking is on the left side of the road next to the fence. Please bring your own scoop and poop bags, water,and chairs. PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment.
