55The amount of space is awesome. Having access to an indoor area is great for those to hot or to cold days. Having access to equipment def makes this spot more fun. Sam is a fantastic host, and does a variety of training so it's like a double bonus, and if u have been curious about agility training, this spot is a great way to try it out. I highly recommend checking it out. Joss J.

Shirley's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Abbotsford | Sniffspot
55Great little field with a lot of potential, with great owners who are receptive to anything they could do to make the spot better (wonderful wonderful couple).
My dog had a blast running, doing structured play/retrieval.
I did ask before visiting if the neighboring property had a dog. The dog was visible during our visit and did run and bark at the fence line once. Then it sat quietly and watched for a portion of our visit. Since the fence line is shared I would say due to the nature of the square wire there would be a possibility of contact between your dog and the neighbors.
This spot is great for more dog social/ people social dogs. Especially to have a play romp with friends, the field is nice and flat.
Parking was easy, but do not block the gate as there is a tenant that lives in the back. I would suggest to the owners of cautioning sniff spotters that the tenant parks in the back of the sniff spot as they did access their vehicle a few times during the beginning of our visit. I navigated this with a long line, but there could be a possibility that your dog may run up to them or they could leave/enter during your visit.
From a reactive dog owners stand point, I would say at the current moment this spot is not dog/ people reactive dog friendly, but doesn't mean in the future it couldn't be :) Hannah B.

FAQ about our Abbotsford fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
