This is a great spot for water loving dogs. It’s not fenced but my dogs have good recall and really only want to swim and fetch in the water. The dock is sturdy and we did some dock diving. Will be back for wire next time we are in town.

We had a very nice visit! It was just what we needed after a streak of cold winter days. Just like the pictures, it was a large open area with a pond and dock. It does go right up to a 55mph country road, but I was surprised there was not a lot of traffic around 5:00 on a weekday. There is a tree line along one side and the back, giving a visual boundary. However, the other side is open. You can see/hear neighboring dogs barking from their yard. It was too cold to get in, but the little pond looks like a great place to practice dock diving. The grassy lot is slightly more than a half mile to walk the perimeter. It's perfect for playing fetch with the Chuck-It. Also, it is great for practicing training with minor distractions. We plan on returning when the weather is warmer so we can test the pond!

Mika had a wonderful time - because there are plenty of trees, it was cool enough for him to run himself out even at 89 degrees. Will plan on repeat trips!

Another great visit. Lots of shade under mature trees in the quiet, well-kept and clean space. We were able to practice recall, a few tricks and my Aussie mix ran the fence with the “good dogs” next door. We look forward to coming back again and again!

Love that the yard is so huge! Our pup loves wandering around sniffing the whole perimeter. Just a heads up there are a few dogs that live next door who may come out in their fenced in yard. The smaller pup would bark at ours and she’d bark back but the owner was great and also would call him inside, if needed. The neighbor’s golden didn’t seem to even notice our pup and was just running around. Our dog can be dog reactive but the fence is pretty tall and there’s so much space for her to explore so it wasn’t an issue. Will definitely be back.

Fully secured for small dogs, definitely. Larger agile dogs/jumpers can scale the 4 ft fence. Especially with the large tree stump. Otherwise, a beautiful/large space. The dogs had a great time.

My dogs LOVE Shelly’s place. & so do I! I think it’s easy to access, she provides bags if you forgot & also it’s a beautiful area to sit and let your dogs be dogs. I love coming to this yard with my boys ❤️

Superb experience. Had to duck out a bit early because my dog didn’t like the neighbors dog too much. Not the hosts fault, that’s a me problem. My goodness though, it’s a terrific venue!

Shelly’s yard was perfect for Archie, there were a few dogs next door and they ran the fence together! The neighbor was nice enough to ask me if it was okay that her dogs were out! So kind! Thanks for a nice afternoon romp!

Great big area for a litter meet up! We did have to make sure gate was secure because it swung open but once we did it was okay! Will definitely be visiting again!

Very clean and open yard with plenty of room to play fetch or run around. There are roughly 4-5 bordering yards with just chain link fencing and one yard with a privacy fence in the corner but we didn't see any people or other dogs while we were there. A neighboring dog did bark at us briefly but they were behind the privacy fence so it didn't bother my dog that much. There was also a filled water bowl left for us that was appreciated!

My pup loved the big yard to himself! I loved being able to sit back and relax and let him run around and play with sticks. He doesn’t quite know how to play with big dogs or little dogs yet, because he’s at an awkward size & he’s not either, so this was perfect for him to let his energy out without him getting nervous about the bigger dogs and trampling all over the little ones!
