My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

Spending an hour here will help you and your dog bond while getting exercise without the worry of other dogs/humans being on trail. From December first on, the spot will only be open if we don't have a significant amount of snow. Please check back regularly to see if any slots are open. Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

Hi. This is my yard. I live out in the woods. I love dogs and built this fenced yard for them. I'm not sure of the exact size in acres, but it's between a quarter and a half acre. The fence is 4 feet tall most of the way around, but 3 feet tall in some spots as well.

Our farm is open fields, lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim, and in the summer grab some vegetables at the farm stand. There are ungroomed walking trails that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. If popular, we can open for winter hikes too. A canopy and bench in a fenced in area for play and relaxing, then leash up for a great walk thru the shaded and cool, winding trails in our forest. Possibly See deer, wild turkey, rabbit and squirrel, so that's why we ask for leashes on Flat, level walking meandering paths thru our wooded area. Boots or sneakers please, no open toe shoes ( for your own safety). And No smoking on property, too much of a fire Hazzard. Please clean up after pet, we supply a trash can for disposal, located at the gate of the fenced area.

Property known as Walnut Hill has 30+ acres of unfenced woods and rough trails of nearly two miles. Dogs are free to run untethered if appropriate for the dog and handler.

We have a large unfenced outdoor yard! The woods are also ours in the back yard if you’re up for a private hike with your pup! Our land is 3 acres in total with lots of unwooded yard space to run and play fetch. We are located at a dead end road so lots of privacy and quiet wildlife area. Come enjoy a relaxing play date with your best furfriend!

We wished we had a yard when we lived in the West End and now we have one we can share with you and your pups! Private space where you can come and chill with your furr baby and let them get out all the extra energy!

No fencing, but some very nice open space, some of it wooded. Plenty of parking available also! We do have a senior tuxedo cat that will be indoors when the space is in use for dog play. Fun for snow play in the winter!

Peaceful and woods for your dog to roam

Hi! My husband and I know how hard it can be to find a nice empty place to let your pups run around - we wanted to offer up our land for anyone looking to use it for their dogs. We are the yellow house and the boundary is our driveway, We do have one neighbor and they have dogs (on their porch) and we have dogs (inside our fences backyard or inside with us) neither will be down at the field. Also note that there is an old burn pile that the last owners of the house used in the middle of the field, you’ll want to steer clear of this. Please refer to our one picture with the info on it for parking etc. :) we would love to have you and your furry friends over!
