We have a beautiful secluded property on the Sespe Creek in Fillmore. We have acres of orange trees and two fully fenced areas. One is a fenced 100 x 200' sand arena with access to water and shade. In this arena there may be a small amount of sheep droppings if we have been training the dogs for sheep herding. There is a second arena that is 80 x 120' with agility equipment and the sheep don't go in that area. Dogs can play off leash and stretch their legs in either area. Please do not move the agility equipment around. You are also welcome to make your way down to the creek and let your pup swim and play. Outside of the fenced arena you are welcome to wander in our orange orchard at the bottom 1/2 of our property but please don't approach any residences or allow your dog to bother the livestock. There are sheep in a fenced area and Tank, our livestock guardian dog, lives with them. *Please note - The sand is pretty soft and dogs love to dig in it. They are welcome to dig but please fill in any holes they dig (it’s as easy as dragging the sand back into the hole with your foot) because they create a tripping hazard for other dogs and people.

Rent the fully-fenced JRB K-9 training yard / agility course. In addition, Jesse R. Booker, founder of JRB K-9, is available to offer free training tips during your dog’s play time, if interested. Relax under the shade of our mature oak tree as your dog runs, plays and explores. You’ll also have access to our Wi-Fi and chilled bottled water. We have dog toys and water bowls, all washed and sanitized between guests. You have free use of the agility course to help build your dog’s confidence or for additional mental stimulation. During the summer months, we provide a shallow pool for those water-loving pups. JRB K-9 is a behavioral dog training facility with overnight boarding, so there will be plenty of new smells to stimulate your dog. Dog’s on-site will neither be seen, nor interact with your dog. No training sessions will take place outdoors during your visit. Street parking is available on site and we ask that you pick up after your dog when finished – a trash can is provided. Enter through the front gate and please always make sure the gate is closed and secured after entering, and before your dog is off leash. Thank you!

A Disney land for your active dog! What a wonderful location. Agility arena, fenced in place for ball fetching, a walk in orange orchard. Very organized with multiple poop bins, water access, well maintained equipment for agility accessible and free to use. Parking spot is clearly marked. Even the drive to the location is scenic! I decided against the walk to the creek as my dog is very fluffy and the idea of him getting wet and then plump down on sandy and dusty ground did not appeal to me, but I could hear the bubbling of water and feel the coolness of the creek from the corner of the property. Definitely will go again! Thank you Karen for opening your property and hosting us.

Amazing spot!! Our girls loved it and it was great to let them off leash in a safe place where we knew there would be no other dogs! They loved running around the fenced areas and going down to the creek. We will definitely be back as we believe it is well worth the price to ensure our dogs’ safety as they explore. Our girls were completely exhausted on the way back home after roaming around the property!

It was our first time using sniff spot and it was such a good experience. We have a reactive dog and it’s hard to find good places where there’s no people or dogs but this place was perfect for our dog. She spent time running around in the agility section smelling everything. 10/10 would go again in the future :)

Great spot! Make sure to go in the morning when it is not too hot. It’s a fun place to let the dogs play with the agility equipment. They really enjoyed jumping over the hurdles that were set up.

I brought three of my four dogs and they had the best time. It was so nice to see them run and play and not have to worry about other dogs like you do at public dog parks. I believe I actually saw my cocker spaniel smile while he was running. The German Shepherds loved the room to roam and all the new smells, it was like a party for them. We will be coming back for sure!

A great place for my doggo to get in some good play and run time! There is a nice big tree that provides shade and a wading pool for dogs to cool off in. *Note: This is in an agricultural area and near a creek, so be sure to bring bug spray!

We enjoyed our time here!! It was a huge open space for us to celebrate my doggos birthday with some friends. We were hoping the creek hadn't dried up so it would probably be best to come in the early spring for that. For dogs who like to eat poop, be wary of the animal poop in the dog pen. There were some red ants but they weren't an issue.

Secluded fenced area surrounded by 🍊 🌳. PROS: We had fun with the agility course. There was shade and wind so it didn't feel so hot. TIPS: Bring bug spray, esp if you're gonna be sweating lol I didn't find a trash can nearby so I had to take 🐕 💩 with me which wasn't a big deal. There were a few spots in the fencing where my little 10lb dog fit & could get out, but we didn't have an issue. Lastly, I could not for the life of me figure out how to get to the creek. The paths we saw were steep & can prob done by advanced hikers, not us lol. I'll try again next time! Overall would recommend and I'll def be coming back :)

Great place to take your high energy/reactive dog. Bring some bug spray. It’s located on a small dirt road and at the end there’s an agility course and empty dirt space. There’s also a bench area and a couple of chairs. The owner also has some tennis balls laying around along with other toys. They also had a great agility course to let out your dog’s energy. We didn’t go to the creek area although the pictures and videos look fun on other reviews. If you do go though, make sure your dog has strong recall. Not sure if the next guests came early for their sniff spot visit but ten minutes before we had to leave we saw them walking with their leashed dog outside of the fenced area. Could have been employees for the boarding facility. But nonetheless we respected each other’s space and they turned around as soon as they saw us. Great place and would come again, be aware of your surroundings and have a great recall for your dog if you’re going to an unfenced area!

The directions were simple and effective, we were able to find it with ease. It’s two huge fenced area and they even provide a little kiddie pool 🏊‍♂️ my dogs loved it and we got to walk around the orange grove and cool the dogs off in the sprinklers. They loved every second of the visit and liked seeing the horse and goat we passed.
