Rent safe and private dog hiking trails hosted by locals in Canyon Country, California

Our first visit, and we'll definitely be back! Gorgeous property and plenty of fun for our two GSDs. We had a lovely time. Thank you, Kyle! :-)

I and my dog had a great visit to the pond and the orchard. She had a wonderful time sniffing all the new smells and exploring the shallower end of the pond. I definitely recommend visiting this spot and we will be back again. The host was kind enough to let us stay a little over time when there was a minor issue with parking. It got resolved quickly and I have no issues at all in that regard, stuff happens sometimes! My only concerns are that, while the entire property is fenced, I noticed some goats wandering around near the entry gate (totally fine of course and super cute), so in my case with a high prey drive dog, I don't think I would feel confident that she would leave them alone if we were to encounter them. Once we have a more solid recall around other animals maybe, but for now we just used a 20 foot long leash while we walked in the orchards (the goats were not at all visible from the side of the property we were on). Otherwise, there were some areas around the pond that had grasses that will soon be drying out into foxtails. Not an issue for now since they are still pretty green but I probably would keep my dog away from that side of the pond later in the season. After having dealt with embedded foxtails a couple of times requiring unexpected vet visits, I try to keep my dogs from playing in heavily grassy/weedy areas. Otherswise, wonderful spot and I'm glad I know what to expect for our next visit!

Great space, fully fenced. Our dog loved sniffing around the area. We will definitely come back! It was a calm, tranquil space that made for a nice end to our day.

what an incredible spot! we brought our dog Wiley here for his 8th birthday with two of his best friends. my dog LOVES to swim but can be reactive so we don't take him to dog parks or beaches because it can be too overstimulating. this sniffspot had a private entrance and in the 2.5 hours we were there we only saw two friendly people driving by on a golf cart (who cheered for Wiley as he did a dock dive) from the other side of the fence, so we had the whole area to ourselves! it was perfect, Wiley spent the whole time swimming and is now happily exhausted. we'll definitely be back!

We will be back soon! This place was perfect for our high energy pups. They loved running around the space and then cooling off in the pond. Great amenities for both pups and humans.

My dogs and I loved spending time here today. It was clean and beautiful and the dogs had so much fun playing in the lake!

This place is awesome! We will definitely be back. My dogs loved being able to swim. Nice for us humans to float around on the paddle boat too! Very well-kept area with a beautiful view!

A great spot for my husky's 4th birthday! He had zoomies and played in the shallow end of the pond with my golden and my friend's terrier. It was so fun watching them have the time of their lives. Kyle was super nice and communicative, and the mandarin oranges are delicious!

What a great spot! We had so much fun we’re going back tomorrow! Kyle was great and responsive with a few questions I had. It took us a minute, but we discovered the “beach area” where it’s easier to get in and out. Very convenient. My dog had a great time. Loved every minute.

I would like to begin with how secure this spot is, absolutely perfect. The lake is a beautiful touch and my dogs loved every bit of it. The picnic area is very nice and allows for you to sit back and relax while your dogs explore and have fun. 100% recommend this spot to anyone interested.

We rented this spot for one hour to try it out with our 2 German shepherds and we all had a great time. The fenced in area is more lake than land. There is a path around the lake but not a ton of room to throw balls far and chase them. This would be a really nice place to rent out for a party with dogs. There’s a lot of places for the dogs to explore, and both of them ended up in the lake which worked out fine. We will definitely be back!

Kyle’s place was fabulous for our pup to swim and run around. We loved that it was fenced in so our pup couldn’t run off. The pond was nice and our pup really enjoyed swimming a lot — there was some debris in the shallow part of the pond but our pup didn’t seem to mind!

Great spot, dogs had a fab time. Lots and lots of foxtails scattered along the bank of the lake, especially on the long side that runs along the fence - not really a path but the dogs were having fun exploring so it was hard to keep them away from there. We'll definitely be back but I might bring my weed whacker next time!

Loved this spot...dogs loved the pond. We booked a 2 hours time slot and wished we had booked it for longer. The only reason we didn't try to rent more hours is we couldn't find the human bathroom. 100% recommend and will return.
