This back yard is fully fenced with driveway guest parking. There is a mix of both sun and shade, and a hose for water. The grass is treated for bugs in the spring and kept short through the summer. No people or dog distractions at my property, so the place is all yours to wander. I absolutely love making this space comfortable for dogs & owners to stretch their legs in peace. It is only available after 6:30pm Mon-Fri, and is available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. You and your dog(s) will be the only ones on property during your reservation. Lazy Bones Acres offers 5 acres of wooded hiking trails for you and your furry companion to enjoy. Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. We at FYDOLAND understand that there are some dogs that do not do well with other dogs or people. Therefore, we offer a private training/ enrichment room and equipment, approximate 2000 ft² where families can play with their dog in a safe, clean environment. A few things to note about the space. We do have a neighbor dog on one side of the yard, on the other two sides, there may be a deer or three. If you decide to come at dusk, we have a mama raccoon with 3 babies. Please park at the spot closest to the street. Make sure your dog is leashed until inside the yard. Please throw out garbage in the big garbage can outside the gate. There are some balls under the porch and plenty of sticks if your doggie likes to play.

That is a good play area for reactive dogs because it is far back from the road sidewalk. There is a driveway that runs along the back of the property so if a dog is reactive to cars that will be a challenge. I cannot ask my neighbor to not use his driveway. He’s a very nice man.

Here at Cedar Dale Pet Resort we have been caring for your four-legged family members since 1981 and now we are offering you a whole new experience- the opportunity to enjoy our recently remodeled Private Puppy Playground! Fun is sure to ensue in a fully fenced natural grass play yard filled with numerous obstacles and various play equipment for the ultimate enriching experience! Zoom through tires, climb on spools, and run down slides. Lay in the grass under the shade of a tree or dig in the sand. Seating for the human family, waste scoop & receptacle are provided. Complimentary wade-pool and towels will be made available upon request. Currently hours of availability for our Private Puppy Playground are generally when our guests are napping or inside the resort eating so no need to be worried about other dogs interfering with your pup’s outing. During the summer months when the weather is nice and our guest volume is high, we may have dogs outside in the other yards midday, but we will not utilize the yard next to the Private Puppy Playground during Sniffspot reservations. Other daytime hours may be available upon request, but we ask that you contact the resort directly for scheduling those times. Additional services including daycare play groups, overnight boarding, nail trims, bathing, and full grooming services, as well as professional training are also available.

Our house is located at the back of a cul-de-sac with parking either in the driveway or along the cul-de-sac. Our backyard is fully fenced and almost entirely private from our neighbors due to the trees around our property line. About .5 an acre of grass. Plenty of seating options for the humans. I own my own All-Natural Pet Store so there will always be healthy treats available for the dogs as well as a water bowl and poop bags or a pooper-scooper to utilize!

Fall/Winter update: the yard is DARK after 5pm. Hose is off for winterization, so please bring water. Our 1/2 acre fully fenced dog-friendly yard is here to host your special furry friends. We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle). Finally, note that we can only host 2 dogs at a time due to wear and tear on the yard. Have fun!
