This is a fenced, grassy, fairly rough pasture a short drive out of town, perfect for training and playing with your dog. Chairs and picnic table available. Note: during heavy rains in the winter months the field will be closed due to the wear and tear on the grass. Closures will be noted in the title page. There is a small drainage ditch in one corner of the field. A bowl and faucet is available for your use, there is detergent there if you want to clean out the bowl.

On the west side of our 3 acre goat farm/tree farm property, we have a fully fenced dog field. The remaining property, a mix of tree farm and open pasture with a creek and pond running down the center, is also available yet not fully fenced. We do have lots of farm animals in their own pastures and pens but we ask that you don’t allow your dogs to harass the livestock. The dog field is not located by any of the animal areas.

**Finally, Jasper Memorial Sanctuary is ready to host dogs. The recovery of this area following the January storm has been extensive. Please be mindful of the scope of the damage and tread lightly to allow the land to recover. As new trees and shrubs are planted in the fall, please ensure that they are not damaged by dogs. There will be ongoing logging on most weekdays on our property and adjacent neighbor's property. I will close the sanctuary if it seems necessary for everyone's safety. The cost to recover/rebuild Jasper Memorial Sanctuary was extensive. Material costs were over $5000. Labor costs, had I hired all the hours worked, are over $15,000. The price increase for utilizing the Sanctuary is small in comparison to the expenses incurred from the loss (0.1%). Thank you to all my amazing guests who have given your dog(s) opportunity to find their calm within by visiting Jasper Memorial Sanctuary. It is amazing to see your dogs and you finding your inner peace. Thank you too for following all of the rules to keep this SS sustainable into the future. The fee set is the amount needed to allow me to keep this site open and provide improvements when needed. Memphis’s meadow is fully fenced with new 5ft field fence. The lowest point is a three foot man gate by the house. It’s beautifully sloping park like setting with large mature trees. There is always shade to be found no matter the time of day. We offer extra amenities and are always open to suggestions! There is a larger 8ft wide stock gate (also secured with woven 5 foot fence) near the parking area. This is marked with a beautiful wood sign and sharing library. Please help yourself. We have two green chairs please feel free to move them around the yard as you wish and a picnic table to enjoy morning coffee, lunch break with your pooch or even a nice evening picnic to watch the sunset. We have added a gazebo for enjoyment on sunny days and rainy day’s alike! Feel free to send us a note if you have a special request or ideas on how to make your visit more enjoyable! As a note, we do have chickens across the driveway from where you access the spot. They are secure in their own space. We are located in the heart of Springfield. We are a short drive from I5 if you are just passing through with your pup. Our Spot is a tall fenced yard where your pup can run through the front and back yards. Our spot is good for big or small dogs, reactive dogs, training, or groups of dogs. We have water, toys, and treats available. We live close to a bike path and occasionally there are noises from this or nearby houses, but is usually tempered by the fence and doesn’t bother us or our pup. We have two curious and friendly pups named Millie and Aspen. They sometimes like to peek from the window. We do keep them away from view when visitors arrive.

Happy Apple Dog Park-AKA Gus’ Park is a fully fenced yard with lawn and some bark dust, There multiple shrubs, trees and plants for your furry companion to check out. A farm favorite are the giant oak trees which provide shade. Feel free to take a seat and watch your friend run and explore! On site we have a small dog (23lbs) and a multiple cats as well as three horses. The neighbors on both sides have dogs but there is no contact-just line of sight! Come enjoy Gus’ favorite spot!

Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Easy access with parking only a few feet away. Additional space for extra large vehicles to park, including motorhomes or trucks. Reactive dogs are welcome! We offer the use of a large, fenced, level field for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, or enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. You are also welcome to add fur friends to your reservation; just please keep me posted if you will need to park more than two vehicles.

There are a couple of spots along the fence line that have openings at the bottom or gaps. Also, damage from the ice storm caused some damage to the property line fencing. See photos. FRONT PASTURE IS CLOSED. Unfortunately, it is not handicapped accessible. Gopher, mole, and dog holes are to be expected. Mud during the rainy season. Sheep keep pastures trimmed and fertilized.

This is a 5 acre farm with 1 full acre dedicated to the sniff spot. The pastures are cross fenced allowing for room to explore but not too far. Horses that offer some additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are used to the dogs being around and even barking at them so they don't respond and generally the dogs get bored of them and move onto exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off leash adventures * Water - leave the blue handle in the up position and use the small black lever at the top of the hose near the faucet to get water. * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return them to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it after your visit. It is important to stay outside of areas market private property. Those gates also have extra locks but just in case we want to be sure everyone stays safe. USE OF INDOOR ARENA: During harsh weather (over 95 degrees or winter would be those days of wind and heavy rain) the indoor arena may be an option. The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

Our place is peaceful and fun to explore. Great for dogs of all temperaments. We have a private parking area with a double gated system to keep everyone safe. Fully fenced area with beautiful views. A great space for all dogs with all energy levels. There is a large willow tree that provides amazing cool shade during the warm months and protection from the weather during rainy months. There is some standing water in parts of the fields during rainy seasons. Please pick up after your dogs. There are fruit trees on site. Feel free to take as much as you would like for yourself, your livestock or for compost! If you loved your visit, please share your experience with family and friends! **Interesting ecological fact if you see rainbow coloring on top of some of the standing water… it is NOT from chemicals or an oil slick. Here’s the explanation. 🙂 A common naturally occurring oily sheen originates from the seed cones of cypress trees. The cones usually fall into the water below the cypress, and an obvious rainbow sheen forms on the surface around the seed pod. In puddles of woodlands or around the edges of stagnant or very slowly moving water, it is common to find sheens covering the water in and about leaves and other vegetation. It is tempting to wonder what form of pollution resulted in the sheens, but the answer is microscopic - and natural. Tiny iron-loving bacteria of many types may be involved. A common tale is that some species of bacteria that live in areas with no oxygen (anaerobic conditions) get their energy by converting Ferric Iron (Fe III) to Ferrous Iron (Fe II) (chemists call this process reduction). As the Ferrous Iron moves through the ground water, it encounters water with oxygen, chemically fuses with the oxygen (chemists call this oxidation), then precipitates (separates from the water) and floats on the surface as a colorful sheen. There are species of bacteria that may help accelerate the oxidation process, and the most common is Theobacillis ferroxidans. At times, a significant area of the water’s surface may be covered and the sheen is as reflective as a mirror, having little rainbow-effect.

Please clean up after your pups. It is very big 9147sq feet right under .25 acre and I'm so happy to get to share the space with some deserving pups. Run your four legged family ragged in our 8 acer grass field at the foot of our gorgeous vineyard. With grape vines over a half-century old, Kristin Hill Winery is deeply rooted in the Eola-Amity Hills. Kristin Hill Winery embraces old-world wine-making styles with traditional European oak barrel-aging which builds depth and character while highlighting the grapes themselves. We have two designated gravel RV spots to the side of our field and we will sometimes have guests, with and without dogs. This is a working farm and we have crews and farm equipment that work much of the time. While you will be in a designated area it might be a little noisy from time to time. Update as we approach harvest: Fall is harvest time in the vineyard! With this we will be limiting our availability. We offer a fully fenced 6 acres in Turner, Oregon. We are a 5 minute drive from I-5 and South Salem. Here at the property, we have the most gorgeous views, a seasonal stream, a farm with a wide variety of animals (who are in their own fenced area) as well as lots of areas to sniff for your furry friends! We have a big parking lot and provide chairs, so you’re able to take a rest. For your convenience, doggy bags are also provided by the gate. Someone is always available on the property, so that if you have any questions, we are only a text/call away! Note: This pasture was used for our farm animals & we send our goats in once a month to keep the grass cut. With that being said, you may come across farm animal droppings during your visit. We also keep our tractor implements in this field, so please be careful around those. They’re located through the entrance, to your right. In the winter & fall months, the pasture has mud around the animal area. It takes up about 1% of the whole 6 acres. There is plenty of pasture for your doggy friends though!

The yard has an l shape which can allow you to go out of sight of your dog for training purposes. Downsides: Access is currently via a somewhat narrow/awkward path. There is a large brush pile in the backyard currently. One neighbor has dogs that like to fence fight. They aren't out all of the time and the neighbors will usually call them away when they start barking.
