An unfenced area around our home that is surrounded by trees and wooded areas (some trails under construction) on our small homestead. We have a flower area (not observed during Nov-March), a garden (winterized from nov-march), chickens (free ranging but can be totally cooped up during visits) and are set back off our road. Trees surrounding the property entirely. We are currently still building out this space, so please bear with us.

Saturday/Sunday mornings 8:30 am - 11 am We plan to stay open this winter but will be closed during inclement weather and if the ground is wet to protect our lawn and prevent muddy spots. Hot drinks (tea and hot chocolate) come standard with visits on days below 45 degrees. Stay warm! Hi! I'm Alyssa, a rescue dog owner with a ~1/3 acre yard perfect for your dog to enjoy! We have a mix of gardens, grass, mulch, and leaf areas great for sniffing and playing fetch and a bin full of fun toys and treats. We have a special basket of small dog toys upon request. We provide cold water for humans, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. We spray our yard every 5 weeks with a natural oil mix to help reduce mosquitos, fleas, and ticks. Reactive dog owners should note that our neighbors on both sides have dogs that may or may not be outside during your visit. They are all friendly but will probably bark to say hello or run the fenceline with your dog. (No dogs live in the yard with the chain link which is newly covered). I recommend leaving your dog on a leash to walk the yard perimeter and ensure they're ok with neighbors' dogs. We provide a bucket of extra treats to help with training and distraction. Our girl loves a "sniffari" where you hide treats around the yard to sniff out. ⭐️ Important notes ⭐️ 🐶 All dogs must be FULLY vaccinated (Rabies, Parvo, Bordetella, DHPP, Lepto encouraged) Please do not book unless you are sure your dog has all their shots. Puppies less than 4 months old that are still building up vaccines should stay at home. 🐕‍🦺 Dogs MUST be leashed when entering and exiting the yard. Our neighbor across the street has a few outdoor cats we want to keep safe and our neighbors walk their dogs on the street. 🍃 Please do not let your dog eat or chew any of the plants in the yard. No excessive digging. 🌻 Please do not enter the gated garden area on the other side of the house. We keep our quail coop and turtle enclosure in this area and don't want them startled. Feel free to look in from the gate though. Per Sniffspot's rules, no alcohol is allowed, and please no smoking. 🚩 We reserve the right to ban any guests who break these rules. We have a fully (newly) fenced in back yard that has yet to be landscaped since we moved in last year - perfect for dogs that need to let out their zoomies. The yard is shaded about 80% of the day. Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. Khepri Lee is a secluded property over 1.5 acres and your dog is free to roam half the property (please keep activities to the left of the home).
