Rock Creek Dog Park is a 5 acre park located just outside of Davis Illinois and is a very quiet, tranquil and peaceful place surrounded by corn fields. Sit in the shade and enjoy a good book while your dog gets the exercise she needs, or get a good hike in for yourself as well. If your dog loves water or needs to cool off, a small creek runs through the park. Parking area provided.

Garbage pail, tote with towels, bug spray, and sanitizer, water hose, bucket, picnic table, and chairs are available on the premises. Area is not used for trapping. Our hiking trails are located next to our home however you will not hear or see people on the trails that are accessible to you. PLEASE NOTE: Our trails are adjacent to public hunting land. Please be aware and use caution that you *may* hear gunshots during the fall months of hunting season! 28 acres of hiking trails to explore with your pup(s)! These trails offer a workout for you and your dog. They are set back in the woods and are wonderful for photo opportunities! Some hills are VERY STEEP so please use caution and dress appropriately for hiking. Please park along left side tree line in grass. Trail access starts right there!

Pack a lunch to enjoy on one of our picnic tables along the way or simply take in the peacefulness of the forest and wildlife. Listen to the squirrels chase each other in the tree tops, the woodpeckers pecking away in a nearby tree, or the geese honking at a nearby pond. Wildlife that are commonly seen on visits include deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, chipmunks, a beautiful array of wild birds, and much more. *Our terrain is uneven as it goes through woods. If you have trouble with balance or walking, please reconsider your visit to our property for your safety. Trails are kept clear, but raspberry and blackberry bushes present thorns, please use caution with these prickers. ** Our spot is fully fenced, however if your dog is not command trained we do not recommend letting them off leash. Dogs have a natural instinct to chase the rabbits and squirrels we have.
