Time for rain boots! Stream goes through the middle of the spot and it gets muddy so wear your rain boots! Wide open pasture, fully fenced in. There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in. Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! We now have a porta potty for guests!! There are sheep in adjacent pasture certain times of the year but there is a 50+ foot buffer zone fenced off to keep sheep away from the fence.

Note: Current conditions are dry and the spot is 90% covered with medium bark to keep down the late season weeds. Please come prepared for these conditions. Note: On weekends during our olive harvest season (late October to early December) there will be workers in the orchard visible from the spot from time to time, quite a way away. Also, there may be cars parked near the spot parking area but these are our workers. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. This spot was everything we could have wanted or needed! The space was huge and perfect for my large dog to play fetch. They also provided many toys included a huge ball my dog had never seen and had a blast rolling around. The hosts are very genuine, thoughtful, and generous. I felt very relaxed myself enjoying the wide open space very privately away from the house and lounging in a chair while not having to worry about my dog. It was nicely kept up and it was cool that they set up a little store with useful dog items. We loved seeing the farm animals nearby and were lucky enough to witness a sheep who had just given birth. What an experience and we will definitely continue to come back!

This was our very first visit to a SniffSpot and we chose well! This is a nice, easily accessible, wide open field for our foster pup to RUN all his energy out in, as well as a great place for our older dog to explore and smell all the smells in. The field is at the front of the property, so you won’t have to pass any people or other animals if you have a reactive dog. The host met us after we passed through their gated driveway. He showed us where to park and gave my husband a run-down of the site before we turned the dogs loose in it. This is a rural setting, so be prepared for a few “burs” if you have longer haired dogs, nothing unexpected or serious though. The pool was filled, and there was also plenty to drink once these two started panting. We all felt very comfortable there and we will go back for sure.

This spot was a perfect! Right off the bat, the owner guided me to the location without approaching my car. When I got out, fearing he would come closer, he immediately put me at ease saying he was going to keep his distance due to my reactive dog. He explained everything keeping well away from me and my car so that my dog settled. He even moved his other animals out of sight to ensure my dogs comfort. I was able to move my dog into the field with no problems. The location is large and well maintained. There’s a smaller field that opens into a larger one. All well fenced and mowed. No foxtails. They have water spots, toys, a dog pool and other stuff. My nervous pup sniffed the perimeter for about ten minutes and was done but I’ll be bringing her back. I’m so excited to find a place where she might be able to relax and have fun.
