Time for rain boots! Stream goes through the middle of the spot and it gets muddy so wear your rain boots! Wide open pasture, fully fenced in. There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in. Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! We now have a porta potty for guests!! There are sheep in adjacent pasture certain times of the year but there is a 50+ foot buffer zone fenced off to keep sheep away from the fence.

Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. Note: Current conditions are dry and the spot is 90% covered with medium bark to keep down the late season weeds. Please come prepared for these conditions. Note: On weekends during our olive harvest season (late October to early December) there will be workers in the orchard visible from the spot from time to time, quite a way away. Also, there may be cars parked near the spot parking area but these are our workers. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Let us know if you want to visit our farm store before or after your visit. We have our Gold Medal winning Frate Sole Olive oil and Copper Hill balsamic vinegar, local Woodland farmers like us. I recently visited Dorinda’s location with my dogs, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The space was large and provided plenty of room for my dogs to run, explore, and really stretch their legs. They loved the variety of toys available, which kept them entertained throughout our visit. The amenities were thoughtful and well-stocked—there were doggie bags, treats, and even towels for drying off after using the pool. The pool itself was a big hit, and having towels readily available was a great touch. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. It was clear they put a lot of care into making the spot enjoyable for both dogs and their owners. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a fun, safe, and well-equipped place for your dogs to play!

We brought 4 dogs. They met us to let us know where to park, where to enter, and walked us through the space so we knew where things were. The space was nice with lots of toys and the pool was a fan favorite and they did provide a towel to dry off the dogs a bit! I was worried the farm animals would be close but there is plenty of space and things in between where we were and where the other animals were. Fully fenced, no gaps seen. Good seating and shade options.

This property has been a great experience for my ridiculously anxious/reactive dog. I’ve been able to gently expose her to new experiences and animals. What a great experience for our dog Koda. He played a lot of fetch and could run so far. He also took a dip in the kiddie pool, thank goodness for the fresh clean towel they provided us with. There are plenty of balls and toys, treats for training and just a lot of space to run around in. They also have a new portable toilet which I did not use. What a fun open space! Not sure if my dog or my daughter had more fun! Plenty of toys. We were told there was extra water from the rain and came prepared for mud and puddles. It didn’t even feel like there was a road nearby because there is so much space even though you could see cars. We were able to stand under a covering when it rained for 10-15 minutes. Weather didn’t stop us tho! We’ll definitely come back.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
