55This place is perfect to bring your dogs and let them sniff/run around/play for a while. We brought two German Shepherds and a cattle dog and they had a blast. Another review mentions the gate being hard to open and possibly cutting you, but we had no issues and both gates were easy to open. The whole yard was very secure and we will absolutely be back. Our reservation was from 7am-8am and the gnats were pretty annoying but that’s just because of how early it was. Just bring bug spray if you come early or in the evening! Jessica M.

55We loved this spot! Great grassy field for the dogs to run around. You can see horses from the field but they do not have any attachments to the field fence. We will definitely be back! Thank you!Ashleigh D.

55A little confusing how to enter. You go through the big gate with the lock on it and then walk back to the dog area... and then we think we went in the right way but there was no actual gate to open. It was a really great location though! Perfect size field for the dogs to run and play in. And lots of sights, sounds and smells for them to be exposed to safely from the field. Will definitely return! Michelle B.

55The location is beautiful. The fenced in area is a really good size for large dogs we have a cane Corso and he had the best time running and playing. As other have mentioned getting to the correct entrance is a bit confusing so be prepared prior to the visit. We are very excited to come. Again. Brandy S.

55Nicely maintained, quiet area. Thankfully they have a sign on a tree “dog entrance” made it very easy to find. We loved this spot. Open area and 2 agility things. My dogs had a blast.Ryan B.

55Spot was super clean. My 2 doggos had the best time, we will 100% be coming back! Only thing I noticed was the fence doors were not left closed. Just verify doors are locked before unleashing…Juan Q.

55My two Brittany’s had a great time running and sniffing! The pasture was lush with green grass and was very well fenced. I brought my own water for the dogs and a water bowl which I took in the pasture with me. There are two chairs in the pasture to use. Horses are in their own area away from the dog area. Upon entering off the main road it’s easy to miss the palm tree with the dirt road entrance as it’s a little overgrown. . Go a bit slow. There’s a small sign that says “dog entrance”. Drive in and there’s one main gate. It’s easy to open then continue to drive in. Close that gate behind you. Then continue driving a short distance and you’ll see the fenced area for the dogs. It’s fun! Liz M.

55Great place for dogs large and small. Plenty of room to play frisbee or chase balls. Just remember the entrance to the dog park in near the intersection of Washington and Huntington St., not the gate to the house that maps will take you to.Russell S.

55Cornered areas have foxtails! Everything is great about the field, just be aware and don’t let your pooch sneak up there.
Easy to find, the signs let you know exactly where you need to enter. Very private, just you and your pup(s) :)Ari O.

55We had a great visit. There were some horses in the nearby fields but they didn’t pay attention to us, so were not an issuer to our reactive standard poodle. It was a great area for us to play soccer and sniff. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!Bonnie B.

55I had a great experience with my dog. I needed a place to practice recall and it was great. The fences are much more of a mental barrier, for a big dog and it worked just fine for mine. Mesh covered wire fencing along with rails. The dogs in the next yard over did put my dog on alert for a bit, but again good practice. The horses too, close enough to be a distraction but not a issue. Clean private and I felt very safe! Id love to make it a regular spot.Charlene P.

55We drove over an hour to try this spot and really enjoyed it. The entrance is a little tricky to find - you have to go past the first gate and turn before Huntington (as per the directions) but Huntington is a small side street and easy to miss. The gate for the dog play area has sharp parts - be careful! I cut my hand on it when going in but coming out I then knew what part not to touch. The dog run is huge and given all the rain we’ve had there was lots of plush grass. Watch out for the mushrooms growing by the West (?) side of the dog run (closer to the horses) - my dogs are normally munchers but they ignored them, thankfully. There is also an outhouse which was great (especially if you have a long drive) and we loved seeing all of the beautiful horses. I had to message the owner a few times while trying to find the place - she responded and came to the gate to help - very nice. Overall, great spot. Worth the drive! Aveleigh O.

55Amazing place to come and visit! Also love that they ask for animals to go potty outside the field so you know that your pup isn't going to roll in anything while they're playing and running around. The posted pictures were great to help find the entrance and my girl loved getting some zoomies out and looking at the horses from between the fences. Will definitely be returning here!Chelsea M.

FAQ about our Riverside dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Riverside area range from $6.0 and $6.0. The least expensive dog field is Friendly yard near Lincoln Park. The most expensive dog field is Friendly yard near Lincoln Park. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
