Bad River Wilderness Dog Park Near Cayuga

Unfenced
60 acres

This is a 60 acre Bad River riverfront property that contains a campground booked through Hipcamp.com but I want to offer pup owners a spot where they can hike off-leash along the river to multiple waterfalls. If your pup is aggressive with other dogs or people please keep them leashed. Follow the signs to the campsite parking for “Bad River Point”, “Balsam Shores”, and “Cayuga Falls” campsites and beginning your hike from there. Follow the signs to waterfalls #1 and #2. If you follow all the signs to the waterfalls it will be about 1 mile of total hiking. If you’d like to see more pictures of the area or reserve a campsite, here’s where you’d do that: https://www.hipcamp.com/en-US/land/wisconsin-bad-river-wilderness-3r57h2n8?adults=1&children=0

Opportunity Woods Private Dog Park In Ridgeland

Fully Fenced
5 acres

**If you are new to SniffSpot, please know that SS is doing a trial of enforced membership in SniffPass. You are able to opt out during the free week without paying the fee and continue to make single paid reservations as current guests do. Now my description: Opportunity Woods offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a secure 6 foot fence. Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a Birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog or having a picnic. Have your dog invite their friends to join in the fun, or have a private play date just with you!

FAQ about our Exeland dog hiking trails

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
