55What a wonderful property with so much to explore. We drove over an hour one way to get here, and give it a try, and I will say that we will be back!! So quiet and tucked away from our normal hustle and bustle. My dogs had a wonderful time being off leash and enjoying some freedom. It was so peaceful back in the woods. There was definitely tall grass throughout a lot of the property (that isn’t the main area), but I expected such, and it gave my dogs plenty of smells and places to explore.Erin K.

55What a treat for my city dog to come and unwind in such a serene and pretty place. She had a wonderful time rolling in every patch of grass, sniffing to her heart’s content, and walking the various paths around the property. This spot is great for any dog and especially nice for reactive dogs - it’s so peaceful and they can explore without worry. The only animals we saw were in the chicken coop and they were safely in their space - not an issue at all for my girl. Anna H.

55My dog and I loved this sniffspot! There was so much space for him to run and explore. It’s also a nice, quiet location for dogs that are reactive. There are horses behind a fence and a chicken coop, but they didn’t seem to bother my dog at all. The wooded trails were a bonus. We will definitely be back!Jessica H.

55Easy to find location. Great property with lots of room for the dogs to roam. They ran and played for the full 1.5 hours on the trails and in the field. It was lots of fun and we will definitely be back. Ivy H.

55Absolutely stunning! This is by far the best sniff spot we’ve been to so far. We didn’t even get a chance to see the entire area in an hour and a half. Just like the listing says do check for bugs if you’re in the back woods. But we absolutely will be going back. Hannah K.

55It was a beautiful fall day. The property was gorgeous with the leaves changing colors. My dogs had a great time. In fact, I had a hard time getting them to leave. I would highly recommend this sniffspot.Donna R.

55We’ll be back! So much to explore. Would have loved to meet the host to get an idea of where everything is. My dogs can’t be trusted off leash. I didn’t notice an area that was fenced in without gaps so we walked and explored on leash. I love trails so that’s what caught my eye about this spot. With 80 acres there may be even more trails and area to walk through. Beautiful farm! Thank you! Kristina J.

55W O W! This is an incredible place. My dog and I basically enjoyed a private hike. She had an amazing time and it made me so happy to see her run free. She’s dog reactive and I’m so grateful we got to experience this stress free adventure together. I booked an hour and a half and could have stayed much longer. We will definitely be back! Felicia R.

55First Sniffspot visit and it was fantastic. The property is huge and very secluded. There's a giant field with rolling hills bordered by forest with trails through the woods along a stream at the bottom. My dog loved the freedom of being off-leash and we were able to do some recall training while enjoying a nice hike. We will be back as there is much more to explore. Definitely recommend!Valerie L.

55This was our first time at this spot and the host was beyond accommodating! We extended our 1.5 hour stay not once but TWICE! My field golden retriever had so much fun running free in the back fields and exploring other areas of the property. Believe it or not we wish we could have stayed even longer! So much many cute farm animal that all minded their own business as we played around them!Becca L.

55Really big open space where we could hike and my dog could dog to her hearts content! Will definitely be back. I did wish I had messaged the host in advance for a bit more information on the property. It’s so large that it’s a bit tricky to figure out where to go/what the boundaries are. Also, as the listing says, this is a working farm! We were greeted by two cute pigs wandering around when we arrived. Katherine B.

55We have been here before in the Fall but it's even better in the winter when the grasses are shorter! Got see the pigs and baby piglet out running around❤️ Great property to hike on with lots of open space! Easy to find also. Very friendly horses that we always enjoying seeing too. 55We really enjoyed our visit! We were initially greeted by a pig and piglet, but they headed towards their pen before the dogs got out of the vehicles and that was the last we saw of them.
We walked down the driveway and started out in the large ring to the left so the dogs could run around a bit before we walked the property. Heads up, since it is horse fencing, a dog who thinks the grass is always greener on the other side can duck under and "escape", so be prepared.
We then headed down towards the bamboo forest and pond. The horses were not in the field, but again, if they are, it would be easy for an off-leash dog to go under the fence and get in with them so be careful if you have a dog who is a "slow listener." Both of my dogs got a quick swim in and would have been happy if we had stayed there the rest of the time. (The third dog we had with us is not a swimmer.) The pond does have some green on top, but at this time of year it's certainly nothing to worry about. One of my dogs found the muddy end of the pond, which made him quite happy until he had to have a bath once we got home. ;-P
After the pond, we headed down the back field but ran out of time to make it all the way to the trails and stream. It's amazing how quickly two hours passes when your dogs are having fun! We'll start out in that direction the next time.
Thank you so much for letting us spend time on your farm! We'll definitely be back!

FAQ about our Friendship dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Friendship area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 422 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 50 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
