55My husband and I had a fabulous hike thru the woods with our two boxers. We did both loops ( but not the connector in between) and it took us 45 minutes at a nice slow pace. Our iPhones granted us very different mileage but perhaps it was slightly more than 1.6or 1.7 miles, not sure doing the outer segments of the two loops. The trails are well marked and offer nice views and a chance for dogs to hear and see rooster goats and horses at a very reasonable distance. Plenty of sniffing opportunities. It was particularly nice in the softly falling snow this morning. There are a couple hills that are fun and not too difficult for someone with bad knees. Footing was very reasonable and not mushy. Path is grassy in some areas or blanketed with leaves in the more heavily wooded areas. Paula B.

55LOVED our romp here! I took 2 of my super fast, athletic dogs (Shepherd & Malinois) and it was perfect for them to stretch their legs AND work on some recall practice...they've been off leash more than on in their lifetimes, but practice always helps!
There are animals onsite that I wanted to be respectful of, so my dogs were on long lines until we passed the house/where there could be sitings or distractions. Even in the cold and snow, there were some wonderful wildlife sniffings (and sightings!). The path was easy to follow and the cutest trail signs ever!
We will 128% be returning! All my dogs will love it....even the 14 year old (will be on a long line!) old lady coonhound.Hannah A.

55I’m pretty directionless, but the trail was well-marked, with cute dog paw signs and orange blazes: I was able to follow. Seems like it might be a bit muddy in the spring in parts so bring a blanket for your car on the way home.
I got a message from the host the morning of. Be sure to check for map on google drive before you arrive; I didn’t have reliable cell service once there. Jessica B.

55This is such a great Sniffspot! It is a beautiful private walk through the woods, and the trail was very well-marked throughout. Like Nicole mentioned in the post, it was definitely muddy in some spots, but we brought a towel for the car so it was not a big deal. We had a blast! The host was great in communicating the details on finding the location ahead of time, too. We will definitely be back!Emily R.

55We walked our GSP for 1.5 hours and still did not get to all the trails. He ran and ran. The trails were very well marked and communication was great. Wish we lived closer I’d be there frequently.

FAQ about our Gregory dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Gregory area are 5 stars.
