We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.

After too many scary calls at local dog parks with my clients babies, I decided to build my own "dog paddock" so we could all stay home and have fun and be safe. Just over 1/2 acre of grassy rolling land with a great sand pit for digging. Natural obstacles and toys in the warmer weather. Located conveniently right on Highway 12 just south of Greenbank between Uxbridge and Port Perry. Only about 12 minutes from Brooklin, 17 minutes to Whitby and 12 minutes from Sunderland I also have an INDOOR sand arena available for anyone that needs indoor training space. ALSO it shows spots not available until 11am BUT contact if you want earlier visit - I can do earlier but there may be horses visible to your dog. Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. After a heavy rainfall you will want to wear your rubber boots. In the winter be aware of slipping on patches of ice. Trail Update (March 11, 2025) The river is too high to cross due to flooding. Please enjoy the trails on the side of the river you park at. Follow our Facebook (Beaverton Dog Trails) for more regular updates. Trail update (March 17): We have had a lot of snow melting this year. Rubber boots are recommended for the trails. Trail update (March 23): The trails south of the river remain closed due to flooding. Rubber boots are still recommended for the rest of the trails. Enjoy your visit! It’s the 1st house on your left east of the 400 or 1st house on your right west of Jane. When u turn in the drive way follow it to the right and then slight left, you’ll see the house. U can park beside the barn and have an awesome walk, sniff all the things. Bring rain boots or shoes u don’t love lol It can get mucky on the trails at times

This is an open yard, but we have made a dog park like fenced in for our dogs. Raised Dog bed, toys, bowls and poop bags available. Agility equipment available upon request. Spring pole available with a soft mat at the bottom to prevent doggies from injuries. Feel free to use the rest of the yard outside of the fence.
