***Charges in USD*** Come enjoy our 100 acre property with an established trail, a pond and a hilltop area with a picnic table, seating and fire pit. We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.

Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. After a heavy rainfall you will want to wear your rubber boots. In the winter be aware of slipping on patches of ice. Trail Update (March 11, 2025) The river is too high to cross due to flooding. Please enjoy the trails on the side of the river you park at. Follow our Facebook (Beaverton Dog Trails) for more regular updates. Trail update (March 17): We have had a lot of snow melting this year. Rubber boots are recommended for the trails. Trail update (March 23): The trails south of the river remain closed due to flooding. Rubber boots are still recommended for the rest of the trails. Enjoy your visit! Path around the pond and into the back of the property where there is woods. The back of the property is less maintained and it is only recommended to go back there if you wish to explore and are sure to be safe with your dog on leash, just because the previous owners of the property left some car debris back there that may be harmful to dogs if they are not careful. We take our three Chihuahuas here all the time with no issues. We’ve taken them to the back as well, but usually just stay to the maintained area around the pond. People have heard coyotes and seen coyote trails on the property so if you have a small dog, it is recommended to be on leash just in case. Pond is great for dogs to swim, relatively clean water that our dogs and ourselves swim in. Pond also has an island in the middle, which makes for a cool place for dogs to swim to.

For those looking for even more adventure, guests are welcome to roam the 70+ acres of open farm fields to the south. It’s the 1st house on your left east of the 400 or 1st house on your right west of Jane. When u turn in the drive way follow it to the right and then slight left, you’ll see the house. U can park beside the barn and have an awesome walk, sniff all the things. Bring rain boots or shoes u don’t love lol It can get mucky on the trails at times

Some trails that wind in amongst the trees or go off trail and explore. Easily accessible for all humans & animals. Many times we pulled a wagon or toboggan or stroller as we walked with the dogs.

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. Approx 10 acres of pasture available for dogs to run and play with gate access to rail trail right behind property. There is a shed by barn that has dog bowls and toys and treats with bags and hand sanitizer as well as long line leashes if you dont feel confident with your dog being completely off leash at first. Please feel free to use them! Hose is available to be used as well and is out hanging on the gate. To turn hose on you have to go into the barn downstairs, you will see it attached in the little separate front room right inside barn door.No animals currently in pastures which is why im renting it out so it can be used and enjoyed however there may still be some leftover hay bailer twice pieces and horse manure in field so please be aware of this! There is a pond in the one south field and the fencing is livestock fencing and could use some work so smaller dogs would likely be able to get through however You know your dog best so you can choose if the fencing works for you or not. It is along the main road (Hwy 35). The fencing is in as is condition but if you need some extra space for your furry friend(s) to run and play mine sure enjoy it! There is a small 10x10 shelter in the one field and a barn with lights up top. Power and wifi (Bramwell95) are available to be used if needed, feel free to use anything in the shed up top by the main gates for your dog(s) :) Parking can be up by barn gate or you can drive onto the large grassy front yard area and park anywhere on there too.
