We can provide a water sprinkler and many other amenities if you'd like. You can park in our driveway. We just ask for a notice as we also have dogs and small children who may utilize our space.

We will have our yard aerated and over-seeded on October 14. We have been advised to limit traffic in the yard for 3 weeks after the work is finished. We regret any inconvenience this causes and we will really miss seeing your dogs. We hope that you will come back to see us when we open the yard again. The yard is fully fenced and we do not have other pets that will use the yard. We are located in a subdivision. We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. We share our yard with you because it gives your dogs a chance to run and play and it gives us a chance to see a dog. We try to greet you as soon as you arrive, offer drinks and assistance, and if you allow it, we’d love to pet your dog(s)!

An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. Our yard, though not enormous, is the perfect spot for your pup to run and get some energy out! It’s lengthy so there’s plenty of room to throw a ball, frisbee or other toys. Our dogs enjoy running in circles and around the trampoline. We have one of the largest lots on the street and the pups love playing back there. It’s fully fenced but please make sure the gate is latched upon entering / exiting. We find our dogs rest under the trampoline for shade when needed. There is a trashcan on the deck should you need to deposit waste or you can use the rake/ bucket system we have and we will deposit it later. There is a water bowl on the deck. During warmer seasons, the hose will be turned on and there will be an auto dog spigot attached. Once your pup learns to drink from this - they won’t stop! There are various toys spread throughout the yard. There are 2 chairs and a table on the back deck available for you to use to sit and watch your pups play. We are backed against a black trail so you’ll sometimes see walkers walking. There’s a pond across the street which is fun to walk with your pups along with a waste station should you choose to use that. One neighbor has a dog and one doesn’t so you will occasionally see a dog outside. Parking - we suggest you park on Destiny and walk down the path to our house. You may enter through the gate which will be easier than coming in through the front.

We have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! We’re just minutes from Interstate 66 & 81. We are also offering many amenities such as cold water for you and your dog! A dog pool, plenty of chairs located sporadically in the shade and one in the middle with an umbrella for shade! We have even put a hammock out there if you want to relax while your dog gets his/her energy out! We have also provided toys, costumes for dress up, light treats and we have a water source for cleaning off the paws as well as towels to dry your pooch before getting back in the car! The private dog park is 100% fenced in and while you’re here our dogs will be in the house so they are not a distraction. All you need to bring is your dog and yourself and you’re sure to have a great time! The proceeds from this Sniffspot will go to our Nonprofit Animal Rescue, Maci Blue Animal Rescue!
