55This was Teddy's first experience seeing chickens and he wouldn't leave the chickens alone because he's so fascinated with them. I'm sure they were friendly but by 80lb German Shepherd Dog definitely out did them and unfortunately scared them. In short, he spent a good 40 minutes checking them out.
When the chickens finally got a break from Teddy, Teddy explored the rest of the spacious backyard. It seems to be a work in progress but it was really nice for him to run around and explore every corner. The garden beds were also a nice area for him to sniff around. He loves going on sniffaris.
Next time we're back, we'll try the kiddie pool (yes, they have one) he's still scared of water :)Nancy L.

55My dog had a great time! Other dogs live here, and there’s a big beautiful chicken coop, so there were a lot of interesting scents for him to sniff. He spent the first half an hour just sniffing around and trotting in circles around the chicken coop (and I spent the first half hour just gazing at the pretty chickens myself).
There were a couple of toddlers watching my dog through the windows, which was cute. Muffled proclamations of “doggie!” floated into the yard. I was glad they were entertained but maybe that’s not your thing.
The yard itself is not glamorous, but dogs like mine aren’t terribly compatible with glamour so that suited me just fine. It was spacious and interesting for him and that’s all that mattered. There’s a bin for poop conveniently located and some balls to kick around, which entertained my dog for a couple of minutes.
We’ll likely visit again even though it’s a half hour drive (w/o traffic) for us. My dog got a lot of stimulation and that’s the goal.
The host was very friendly too. Thanks for your hospitality! Christine M.

55The house is on a cul-de-sac in a neighborhood near Oakridge Mall. The owner messaged me that I could park in her driveway. The gate to the backyard is to the left of the driveway, really easy to find. Sniffspot lists the house number as 963 but really it’s 971. My friend and I wanted our dogs to meet in a neutral space off leash and this was perfect! Very affordable, very well maintained and plenty of room for the dogs to run. The way it was set up was pleasant for the humans, too. It’s a wonderful resource for those of us who live in San Jose and we will be back!Janet K.

55This space is awesome, and Marie is a great host! I brought my two dogs to get some energy out and they had so much fun. There was plenty of seating for my husband and I to chill while they ran around. We will be coming back! Amanda L.

55As a dog trainer, I'm always on the lookout for exciting spots to take my clients' dogs. This is a fantastic Sniffspot—it's hands down one of the best in the area! Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, it's a haven for reactive dogs. There are two fantastic grassy areas perfect for romping around and even a designated dig spot for the diggers. And what's more, the yard is impeccably maintained and always sparkling clean, complete with provided towels and poop bags. I've already got a few return visits scheduled because, honestly, it's just that awesome!Jeff I.

55A great spot big enough to let my two pitties zoom around! Good value too. Super nice and thoughtful and communicative host (thanks for the lemons and oranges). Host left towels out in case we needed them and she offered to put a new dog water bowl out for us which is a nice gesture considering canine flu etc. The place was easy to find and very clean. We ran around for a bit and then did some training. My bad for forgetting their toys / balls cuz this would have been a fantastic place for it! Esti Y.

FAQ about our Los Gatos fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
