Great place for our first off leash adventure. Our pup had a wonderful time running and playing. They left us a large kiddie pool for her to play in that she had a ball in. She got to meet her first goats and pigs too. We will definitely be back soon and often. Thank you for making Kinley’s first birthday such a happy day. ❤️🐶😀

this was our first time using sniffspot. It was a great experience and recommend this host! While renting a beach house in Old Saybrook we found this sniff spot location nearby in Madison. We have a fenced in yard at home but are trying to find places to expose our 1.5 year old pup to all types of things. What better than some farm animals! The host (Erika) sent detailed info on where to go on the property and left treats and water for us and treats for the goats and pigs. Bozzy (our dog) was a little preoccupied by the animals to fully care about running around the yard too much, but it was a great training experience for he and I. He barked a bit aggressively at one of the pigs (who didn’t care at all) so I kept him on a leash for the first 15 minutes to work on taking him farther away if he was too reactive and to respect the animals who live there. Erika had a kiddie pool with fresh water for him to play in (which he did) and some houses/obstacles to play on (which he used also). We didn’t stay the whole hour but are very appreciative for the hospitality and for trusting us on their property. The goats and pigs were so friendly too! thank you!!

A nice farmyard space , easy to find and use. The other dogs on the property were not seen or heard. The pigs and goats are in the pen adjacent to the play area. I have one dog who is reactive to other dogs on leash and at fences. He checked out the farm animals and barked at the pigs when they snorted loudly, but he was easy to call off and I got him to play fetch. I have been working with him on reactivity for quite a while though, so we have some skills there. This was a great place to practice b/c the farm animals were quite easygoing. My other dog is a traumatized, frightened rescue who has only been with me for a month. She did really well.

Had another great visit to this spot! My 2 reactive dogs can relax, even though they do bark at the goats a pigs a little, and have fun. And my fence jumper is contained so she can be off leash safely. And we found some treats as a promotional gift for a new store opening soon. Awesome evening!

Our first Sniffspot visit was a success thanks to Erika! Our new rescue is reactive so it’s such a blessing to find a fenced yard for him to explore away from a busy neighborhood. And, it also helped me work on his animal/dog reactivity. There are chairs, dog poop bags, hand sanitizer and toys (it’s an animal playground!). I had asked to feed the animals because my kids came with me. They really enjoyed that part. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our first sniffspot with our reactive dog who we have been rehabbing for years. The space was exactly as pictured and we were completely by ourselves which is needed with our pup. The host left doggie treats, water, poop bags and cleaning supplies and answered all of our questions very quickly!

Great spot! Easy to access off of highway. Easy parking and access to designated space. Farm animals nearby (but fenced off) were a big hit with our dogs. There are obstacles in the yard that dogs can crawl through or jump up on. A welcome table with water bowls, treats etc was a nice and welcome touch! Host was very communicative and helpful as this was our first time using Sniffspot. Highly recommend to others and will definitely use again 😊

Nice fenced in yard area at a farm. My dog enjoyed the toys and playing in/on the equipment. She was absolutely fascinated with the pigs and goats in the area next to the yard. We enjoyed our visit and hope to return

We loved our time at the red barn. Fenced in space to roam, some balls to kick around, very much to sniff, and best of all, some new friends on the farm for our little one. Elvis the pig is a sweetheart. Thank you, Erika!

Erika was VERY nice and tentative. The yard was a good size for my pup and was surrounded with toys. The farm animals are SO CUTE!!! ✨10/10 will book again✨ (don’t mind his shaven leg he hot neutered 4 weeks ago)

Erika's farm was awesome! A quick detour of the highway, and such a sweet little property. Our dog Lucy got some great sniffs in and burned off some energy from being cooped up in the car for 3 hours. She was fascinated by the goats and pig, which we got to feed too! Erika was accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Great 1st sniffspot experience and would definitely come back!

Erika’s spot is great! So much space to roam and alot for my dog to sniff. We were nervous about our reactive dog being around the animals and I reached out to Erika to voice my concerns before hand. She reassured us and made us feel comfortable and confident bringing our dog around for training. He barked a bit but the animals were unphased and our dog had a blast. We will definitely be back again!

Used this Sniffspot for two puppy friends to reconnect after a few weeks apart and it was WONDERFUL! The location was easy to find, the space was large and nicely fenced, fresh water was left out for us. The puppies loved seeing the farm animals and balls/climbing areas left for them to play on. I cannot comment on the site, as we never got there. We couldn’t find it. I do want to say, however, that Erica was most helpful and accommodating, trying to guide us with directions and keeping in touch as we drove back and forth on Rte 79N. I will definitely be booking with her again.

Awesome spot! I have a 10 mos old pup who’s never met farm animals before and it was so neat to see him interact with the goats, pig (his favorite), and mini horse. Plenty of space to run around and a few things set up for climbing as well. He had a blast. Definitely plan to return!
