55I am so excited that Dawn to Dusk added a spot with water! Callie had such a good time. She is reactive, so outings are limited to sniff spots. It made me so happy to see her get to play in the water.

55What a great spot - will be coming back! Dogs had so much fun splashing in the pond and sniffing around the trees. We loved that about half of it was shaded so they could take breaks from the warm sun. We didn’t encounter any distracting wildlife or farm sounds. Cassidy J.

55Great place for my hounds! Fence is very secure-my beagle didn’t find any escape routes though he was looking! My harrier ran the perimeter and worked off all his excess energy. A perfect ending to a hot day!Amy P.

We are actively trying to get our puppy more comfortable in and around water, we have been twice to the splash and dash, he has built so much confidence going at his pace by himself with his sister going in and out as he pleases. The best idea to have put that in just in time for summer. Genius! Big fans :)

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
