There is plenty of parking. Our fenced yard is about 2 acre. There is also a chicken run fenced separately where your dog can check out some chickens. The entrance to the yard is a gate between the house and garage. Please replace the carribeaner when you leave. And have fun!

We live off a private drive with 30 acres of woods. We have both a 5 ft fenced in front yard plus in the process of fencing in the open acerage in back yard. We also have trails on our property that you can walk/hike while observing wildlife. We are currently cleaning our large kiddie pool that had been used previously for our big dogs. We can provide Johnsons Baby shampoo and towels if you would like to give your dog a bath in it. We will have camping chairs available to sit and relax while watching your dog run around our fenced in yard. We will also provide bottles of water for you to drink if thirsty besides bucket of fresh water for your dog/dogs. There are ticks in the woods so be sure to have flea/tick preventative on your dog/dogs.

This is 6 acres of raw land. In process of finishing tiny off grid house for camping (Spring ‘24). The property slopes back down the hill toward about 3 acres of woods. Mostly long grass with mowed trail to back of property. You can see views during different seasons. No pesticides. Follow mowed path trail to back of property where it touches Jacob’s Creek. Property lines are marked. Please mind the property lines to be good neighbors. :) Please note that gravel driveway belongs to neighbors- not us. Please park on mowed pull-off. The drive is mowed back to house, down the hill, into the woods and to the creek. Will have outhouse by Feb. For now, there is a Love’s Truck Stop at exit 92 with food, restrooms, etc. (less than 5 minutes away) or in Marengo (8 minutes away).

This land provides all terrain options for whatever your dog desires. You can stay close to your car in a field setting or walk deep into the valley to explore the creek bed on a hot day. I have built 4 campsites on the property (also for rent,) so there are 4 unique sitting spots, hammocks, tables, and fire pits. We have 2 golden retrievers (1M/1FM, both fixed) and a golden doodle (1m/fixed) who can either be put in the house during your visit or come socialize, whatever you prefer. This is an unfenced property that is combination of flat open space, hills, trees, and tall grassy areas. The property border is outlined by the street in the front, a shared gravel driveway in the left and back, and a solid tree line on the right. Guests can park in the driveway or yard in front of the green outbuilding.

Large fully fenced peaceful residential yard. Shade trees, dog toys and water, everything a dog can ask for!

I have a small fenced-in yard that is directly behind the house. THIS AREA IS OFF LIMITS, for I have 3 dogs myself that are limited to this area. Guest are permitted near the fence for all dogs to sniff each other, but be mindful and, if needed, back your dogs away if it begins to create stress on any dogs. Either mine or yours! My dogs are friendly but protective of their area. I have included an aerial map showing the outline of my property as this is a town setting. There are several apple and peach trees in the yard that do produce but won't be ripe till later in the year. There are several ground hogs in the area, and many deer use the area in the late afternoons. The possibility for visually seeing deer in this time is almost every evening, especially when the fruits are on the trees. If there is any activity or interest in the future, I will be open to adding a water spicket and bowls to water your dogs, doggie bags, poop scooper, and even a garbage canister. I even have some discarded tires I could bury for dogs to sniff and mark. I can even put up a sign to direct you in the correct direction. There are wooden or metal post in the area that mark off the property line, so just keep an eye out for them. This is a trial run, so we will see. There is adequate parking next to the house and in front of the garage. I just ask you to park to the side to allow me to be able to leave and arrive when needed. More to come.. let's see how this goes. As I am writing this, my dogs have alerted me to deer that have come out into the yard. See attached photo. The time is 830 pm for this sighting. I see 4 at the moment, but often many more. Even young fawns come out to play. They even spend the night, so I'm sure dogs can smell their activity. If your dogs like to run off, I'd suggest keeping them leashed. Otherwise, if they stick close.. let them run.

The yard doubles as a play yard for boarding dogs. Plenty of room to open up and run!
