This is 40 undeveloped, private wooded acres less than 15 minutes from Bellingham and 10 minutes from Mount Baker Highway. There is a long unpaved road to wander on as you adventure deeper into the property. Trails to come, until then, explore as you wish. Enjoy nature’s agility course by wandering at your will. For Pack (more than 3) Pricing, message us for a bigger discount. In the wet season, there is mud at a few low spots on the back trail. Please consider wearing boots for now.

22+ acre property with 20 acres that is fully/securely fenced. The front half is an open field & orchard, the back is forested and has maintained trails throughout. There's covered seating in the field & woods, portapotty, drinking water station, toys etc - see amenities for more details. There are seasonal streams, ponds in the woods this time of year, plus extra puddles & mud during/after moderate-heavy rain. Foot bridges and woodchips keep the main trails in decent shape for walking but there are plenty of muddy areas to explore so expect a wet, dirty dog - waterproof traction boots (muckboots etc) recommended. There's a dogwash station (elevated, tethers, sidewalls) for faster cleaning that's easy on the back and keeps clothing drier; bring your own towels. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. Some days fill fast but plans can change & bookings get modified/canceled (2+hrs beforehand) - check back for an opening if interested. Thank you for being considerate of our space by reading and abiding by SS and spot specific rules and asking all who accompany you to do the same. First time visitors get an auto-message 2hrs beforehand with helpful info.

Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

Can I leave more stars??? This spot was a perfect romp for my dog. Beautifully marked and graciously greeted by host. Be prepared to hike UP, just as the name states. The hillside was a little intimidating for me as I have a bad knee, but the property was so well-maintained and fully fenced that my energizer bunny dog could safely run laps around me & explore while I took my time. It was fantastic!! Clean & peaceful. Perfect little romp on a chilly drizzly day!

Grace met us moments after we arrived and set us on our way. I brought my three kids along with our 16 month old collie for an afternoon of running around in the woods. It’s an incredibly unique location, being fully fenced was an excellent bonus.

Our two dogs and us had the most amazing time today at the mini forest hike. Grace was there to greet us and she walked us to the spot. She was very friendly and did not say anything about the fact that we were a few minutes early :) The mini-forest was beautiful, serene, and lots of wonderful sniffing for the pups! It was almost like a doggie disneyland where our dogs were sniffing non-stop for the first 30 minutes and running around. Since the entire area was fenced, we were also relaxed when they ran around and were out of our sight for a few minutes. There are lots of mini-trails, benches to sit down, and enjoy the quiet and the birdsong! We have some tired and happy pups at home now ! We will definitely be back! Thank you Grace.

This was the best time!! Grace was so kind and accommodating for our family to meet up - 5 dogs total. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful property and our dogs didn’t stop running/exploring. They loved playing in the water too! We humans got a little workout climbing up the hillside and through the forest. Great to take a break at the campsite seating while the dogs explored around us. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back for sure!

OMG! my german shepherd, Maverick enjoyed the place so much! it was worth the drive from Des Moines. I should have booked 2 hours as 1 hour went by too quickly, not enough time to leisurely check out the rest of the lovely ‘mini forest’. Next time I will pack a nice lunch with me as the picnic area looks very inviting. The gracious host, Grace said that her siblings & their families would camp here almost every year in the past. I enjoyed the hike, i needed it. i loved the sounds of the creek, the birds, the trees & the calmness, peaceful, serene feeling up the hill. I also enjoyed sitting on the porch on one of the tiny cabins, while Mavey sniffs around and sat on my feet later on to rest. I will definitely come back, don’t know when yet, but i will.

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
