Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! **Please see pic showing details of road work. Sept 3-Oct 11** Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade trees and seating make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass *currently approx 1/3 mowed, the rest is a field of high grass. There is a trail mowed around outside a few through center*, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. WINTER: Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. SUMMER: During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One adult may accompany each dog but please no children. >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental support Misspits and the animals in our care.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Best day ever! I took my three little senior rescue dogs, two of which are hospice. I foster for Old Dog Haven. Because of their health status, I'm always looking for private adventures. What an amazing place! Beautiful, large field with so many exciting smells to investigate. My childhood heart almost died when I witnessed three miniature horses gallup across the pasture next to us. It's really well fenced for small dogs, but of course, a truly determined dog can always find trouble out of nothing. I was amazed that I never came across dog poop, but absolutely would have understood if I did because it's a vast field. I cannot wait to come back, especially when the pool is opened! Thank you for sharing your beautiful land got dogs like mine!

We love stopping here to give our dog a break whenever we are in the area. We highly recommend it. The fencing is excellent. The area is always clean with fresh water available and lots of toys for throwing and playing in case you forget to bring your own. Visted with my friends two young full of energy rottie girls and they had a blast. The double secure gates were very much appreciated, huge tub of fresh clean water that the girls loved and the toys were a big hit. We booked for 2 hrs and it flew by, the girls had the best time. Reasonably priced, easy to find, clean, fenced in, farm animals fenced in other areas but did not pay any attention to us so our dogs did not even notice them. Pool for when its hot which I loved, plenty of water available for the dogs to drink, extra poop bags and garbage can available. We will definitely be returning.

Dexter’s Bark Park is a fantastic sniff spot! We were impressed with the fencing around the large grassy field. The surrounding areas are vey clean and well maintained. At the entrance gate you will find lots of toys to play with, aplastic baggies dispenser, a trash can and a first aid kit. Also access to water. There are benches to sit on at several different locations in the field. Which is great because the views of the farm, the goats, horse in the next field, and mountains behind the farm are awesome! We will definitely be back to visit Dexter’s Bark Park again!
