This is an awesome place! Thank you, Lindsey, for sharing your land. Lots of space to roam. Quiet. Beautiful. Owner’s dogs were present but so far away that my reactive dogs only cocked their heads slightly when they heard barking (it was impossible to see them) and then continued their explorations. And Lindsey put the dogs inside nonetheless. There’s so much room to wander, play, train, etc. Looking forward to returning and exploring some more.

One of, if not the, best sniff spots I’ve been to. So much to explore. There are fields, trails, woods to romp in and a river. We saw the dogs mentioned and they barked from away, but stayed on the porch. You could only be visible to the dogs in one of the fields. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic farm and trails and a fresh water river (big stream?) and pond to cool off in. Puppers ran and frolicked and practiced recall, and then exhausted, settled down to chew sticks. A perfect Sniffspot, and we hope to be frequent visitors.

we had such a fun time!! lindsey was so kind and helpful before we left for the trail. she even had me call her when i got a bit turned around while out. the resident farm dogs were very far away and completely uninterested in anything other than sun bathing. gorgeous place and cannot wait to go back already!

We love this spot!! It’s a bit muddy but as long as you wear the right boots, I honestly enjoy it! It keeps my dog cooled down and he looooves to be dirty.

What a beautiful place! The property is peaceful, spacious and gorgeous; you can walk along the river and see if the beavers are out or perhaps get a view of the horses grazing in the adjacent yard. Lindsey, the host, could not be more lovely or helpful. Our rescue loved it! We will return!

The farm was absolutely perfect for our walk- completely quiet and private. The roads are all far enough away I felt totally safe with my dog off leash. I'd like to go back a few times so I can better learn the paths and trails because there was probably a lot more I didn't explore. Would recommend if you have a dog with good recall but you want a private place for them to get some great exercise.

I don’t know what else to say other than W O W. First you are greeted by an incredibly friendly host, Lindsey gives you the lay of the land but the layout is pretty self explanatory and there’s SO much room to explore. We will most definitely be frequenting this spot, we can’t wait for the summer!

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks.
