The spot was easy to find and had plenty of room for my pups to sniff and explore. It was pretty warm out but there were plenty of shady spots for the pups to lay down and cool off before getting back to it.

Our corgi loved this sniffspot! It was very enriching and well-kept. The owner was nice and welcoming. Remember to bring insect repellant for the humans and the pup. Will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous spot! I was a little worried that we’d be too close to the road for my dogs to be off leash safely, but once we got back on the hiking trails there was plenty of distance from the road where I felt pretty comfortable taking the leashes off. Do NOT forget your bug spray! The mosquitoes are brutal. I keep a bottle in my car that was unfortunately empty and had to leave early because I was getting eaten alive. My dogs still had a blast and were plenty tired after 30 minutes. We will definitely be back.

Eric has an awesome acreage not far from the Omaha metro. We headed out for an early walk and this place was perfect. Very well groomed trail that’s easy to follow and the dogs had a blast! I’m super appreciative Eric was willing to share this property with us!

This spot is definitely going on the favorite list. I love that this spot had a trail that was really nicely cleared but then had areas around the trail with long grass and tall plants which is what my dog loves. So I got to stay on the trail while my dog had the zoomies off the trail. It is such a lovely place to get away from the city which is what I am always looking for in a Sniffspot. The gravel road nearby did seem a little busy but the trail is far enough away from it that I had no issues with my dog being off leash. We saw a deer so that was really fun for my dog to try and keep up with it but he had no chance 😂 I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you have a reactive dog (like I do) and don’t like taking them on heavily populated trails. But the mosquitoes are ruthless and a good bug spray is a must. I’m so thankful to the host for opening this spot up and can’t wait to go back

Freya's Playground is an absolutely lovely Sniffspot that we will happily visit again. Eric left out bug spray, a sprinkler, a tripod, and lots of toy options. Nico really enjoyed the path and the slight elevation gave us good exercise as well. The tall grass near the driveway was a huge hit as you can see in the pictures. Nico is still learning recall so I was careful about keeping him on leash near the driveway, but the property is nicely tucked away in the trees and Nico never seemed inclined to push the boundaries. We had tons of great opportunities to practice recall.

Outstanding. We booked a campfire this time and it was all set up for us with plenty of fuel. Kids and dog had an amazing run around and really enjoyed the beautiful landscape. Thanks so much to the host for going above and beyond

Loved coming out here again. We were waiting for the mosquitoes to kind of reduce in numbers to come back out. It was a lot of fun for both my dog and I. I can’t wait to see if I can try out the campfire option with my family some time soon!

We loved our stop! The nature trail was clear cut and my dogs loved all the available sticks. It was a lovely hike into the Loess Hills. We will definitely be back!

Always a great time. Nice little forested loop I have enjoyed with different friends and their dogs. My little kids always love exploring and feeling like they went on a big scenic adventure. We have rented the fire pit in the past and it made for a relaxing evening for humans and dogs alike.

Piper did not care that it was 20 degrees yesterday. She had a blast on her first Sniff Spot adventure!! She loved being free to run whenever she wanted, but would stop every so often and wait for Mom to catch up. And the smells. So many new smells for her little nose to investigate! Piper’s trip was topped off with some play time with the host’s dog. Freye? was amazing! She gave Pipes some space at first when she was completely in awe of (terrified by) her size. But they sniffed it out and took off to play. Freye was so gentle. They ran around, chased each other and Freye showed Piper some new spots to explore. On the ride home, I looked back at Piper and saw she had passed out in the back seat - body and mind completely exhausted.

This is a great spot! Our dogs loved sniffing around and exploring the hills. One of our dogs especially enjoyed sniffing the old black pick up - probably lots of interesting smells in there. There was a nice, wide trail to walk on. We’ll be back again!
