There is no way they can physically interact with your dog through the fence, but control of your dog must be your priority while walking to and from our property. We live in a suburb with close neighbors whom often enjoy their outdoor space in good weather. Penny’s Place is exactly what you want to make of it! Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation. Please try to give us notice, even if you are within the 2 hour window, so we can cancel your block. *if bad weather is highly anticipated in the area, please understand that we may not always approve a full refund if you cancel last minute HOURS: we close nightly at 10pm and reopen the following morning at 6 am.

Sit back and relax on the deck under the shade while browsing the WiFi! Additional amenities include poop bags, water bowls and bottled water for the owners. Lastly feel free to take advantage of the view of the horses which FYI you can also pet if you walk up to the gate!

Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. I lost my dog 2 years ago. I fell deeply in love with dogs after I completed a dog program that was held in Oakland County. I recently lost my dog Pablo who was not only a dog but a family member. The love, patience, and understanding that I have for dogs are like no other. Knowing that I’m not fully healed from my lost I still the love the feeling that dogs brings. Bring your dogs to jump on me, run in the sun, play in water hoses, eat treats and snacks. Let me love your dog for a hour or two while you watch and relax or run errands. Recently got some trees cut down but we have a good space for a little doggie fun! I found that kids and dogs love the same things haha. Still working on a potty area near the fence entranc, as well as a rock border, but awesome place to chill and read a book while your dog runs around and explores. If your dog is friendly, would love to pet your pup! My middle is allergic so we will never be able to have a dog but we love them. I do have plants, so if your dog eats them, this may not be the yard for you. Have a sandbox with dirt for digging and a coaster for them to climb. There is a small opening under the deck, so if your dog is tiny, they may be curious to go under. I do use organic pet friendly weed killer sometimes but I try to keep the back as organic as possible.

Privacy fence on both sides with a 4-5ft chain link around it. Back of the yard is only chain link in case you have a jumper. The back of the yard is partially wooded but plenty of space to run and play. I am an owner of 4 dogs of which 3 go in the back the 4th is a rescue with high anxiety and gets walked. I do have dogs on both side of me. One side is quiet the other are hounds that will bark or howl. Currently there is an above ground pool not covered and no deck around it only steps. The steps will be removed soon and it will be closed for winter. Great running space for any dog that needs to stretch there legs.

We have a newly built swimming pool with a splash pad and a covered patio, which offers plenty of shade. Our covered patio has two ceiling fans, a gas fireplace, comfy patio furniture for five, an outlet for charging phones or laptops, WiFi available, and misting fan available upon request. We also have treats available on the patio for your doggo. We do have two medium size dog canopies, a chilly pad, numerous water and retrieivng toys for stretching those legs and tiring out your companion. *Please be respectful and courteous as this is our home* *Do not allow your dog(s) to bark excessively or at our neighbors, this is our home. *NO glass or alcohol allowed on property *NO smoking of any type *Please clean up after yourself *Thoroughly brush your pup(s) prior to swimming as to reduce the amount of hair in the pool.
