55Loved Arlene's private dog park. The hour flew by. It's not completely fenced but this was not a problem. There was lots of space and no distractions. I will return here again. thanks Paul BrownPaul B.

55My dog and I enjoyed the peaceful walk in a fully enclosed area in the country. We loved to explore the trails and walk through the trees. I was able to set my belongings on a table which was nestled in the trees in a cozy corner by a bench. My dog was able to jump on a log and even up onto a large tractor tire when I called her. We both enjoyed the experience at Cornerstone.Anna H.

55Great space. You have to drive to the back of the driveway, once you get in there there isn’t anything surrounding the park so it’s quiet and secluded. Really peaceful. Kate M.

5510/10 would come back! I have a dog/animal reactive German shepherd, and was worried about taking him to an unknown spot. We heard dogs barking in the distance in the open field, but it was far enough in the distance that it didn’t trigger my dog. He happily ran and chased his ball. We did forget a water dish though, and there were none on site… which is on us! Would definitely visit this property again ❤️Rosemary G.

55Fantastic place. The grass is really high right now but they have mowed some of it and the track between fields is nice and wide and shaded. The chairs are a wonderful addition. It’s a wonderful place to wander freely with the dog off leash and not worry about other dogs showing up. Danielle S.

FAQ about our Red Deer dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 81% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Red Deer area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 11 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 3 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
