The pasture space is rolling and mostly open with some treed space. Your dog may find all sorts of things here but please leave any bones they find. Feel free to take sticks. This is a lovely place to take a pup. The ground is uneven and the grass is fairly long with the occasional prickly thistle, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear, but otherwise it is perfect for letting our girl stretch her legs and get a good amount of sniffing in.

10/10 would come back! I have a dog/animal reactive German shepherd, and was worried about taking him to an unknown spot. We heard dogs barking in the distance in the open field, but it was far enough in the distance that it didn’t trigger my dog. He happily ran and chased his ball. We did forget a water dish though, and there were none on site… which is on us! Would definitely visit this property again ❤️

Fantastic place. The grass is really high right now but they have mowed some of it and the track between fields is nice and wide and shaded. The chairs are a wonderful addition. It’s a wonderful place to wander freely with the dog off leash and not worry about other dogs showing up.

Great spot! Large open area to toss the ball around and a nice shady area to sit for lunch if you don’t mind the mosquitos. It was very quiet and we didn’t hear or see any other people/animals nearby. Willow had a great time being able to run around and play! We will be back for sure!

There’s a large path mowed down the middle of the field that made it easy to walk down while my dog explored through the longer grasses. My dogs recall isn’t fantastic but it’s quite easy to stay far away from the fencing around the perimeter if that’s a concern for you. Will definitely be back!

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
