I have 6 acres directly on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. Great spot for small mouth fishing. Pictures taken are when the river was very low but regardless it’s still a pretty good spot to go out in the water. Also available to drop in or hop out for kayaking. The fence is 4 ft feet and features metal grate between fence posts for added protection and security for your pup. Users will have access to the deck area and screened in porch. Deck has a table you are welcome to eat and sit at. The screened in area features a sectional couch and overhead fan. Please note dogs are not allowed in the screened in area of the porch. Each guest will receive complimentary drinks and snacks. For the dogs, you will have everything you need. Welcome to Elysium Farms! We are located in scenic Scottsville, VA down a private gravel road. We have access to a walking trail, large pasture, woods, and a creek! We have fenced-in farm animals your dogs can view. We will provide camping chairs, bottled water, water for your dog, a kiddie swimming pool and water for your dog to drink. We do have 3 dogs of our own, but they are fenced in with our underground fencing and with notice, we will be happy to lock them inside the house for your peace of mind and comfort! My husband and I have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! Our goal is to provide a space for all dogs to play, run and sniff away! Having volunteered, fostered, adopted and worked at various animal rescue non-profits over the years, I realized that many cats and dogs don’t get much time outside of the kennels. I also came to understand that many rescue animals develop trauma related behaviors and cannot integrate with other dogs. Additionally, having this time of off leash freedom is a significant bonding experience for pups and their parents! Having the extra space to provide a private dog park and the passion to help all dogs thrive, our private dog park was a no brainer! Our dogs are in a separate fenced area but because I feel this time is for you and your pup(s), I will put my pups in the house so they are not visible to you and your pups. Welcome to Gunther’s Run in Staunton, Virginia! A fully fenced one acre property for you to hangout while your dog or dogs run, play and get tuckered out. There is plenty of shade and a outdoor water pump & dog bowls for fresh water. There is a furnished shaded deck, lounge chairs, and a covered front porch with seating for inclement weather. ***please be advised that there is No outside lights on the property for night time, please schedule accordingly. I will be working on outdoor lighting for the property in the near future.

Unfenced field in Afton, Virginia. Confidently located within minutes from exit 99 on 64. 15 minutes to Waynesboro, with vineyards and wineries nearby. A nice place for an evening walk. Most walk their dogs along the edge of the property, through the access road, then back up the gravel drive to the spot. There is a mowed field around the burn pile that is nice for pups to run. We will be putting a fence up in the fall!

Partially fenced stream-side trails on 60-acre working livestock farm. Wide walking trails with trees, open spaces to run, and access to streams and a pond. If you want to do a full hike, you could easily spend several hours and not have to backtrack! Physical check-in with the owner or a farm worker is required for your first visit, and recommended for subsequent visits. You will be provided with a map and information on where livestock is located, so you can plan your time to avoid areas if needed to ensure your pet’s safety and happiness. All livestock areas are securely fenced to ensure the animals stay put, but we know some pets can become overstimulated, so we want you to have the best experience possible.

The Burton Family Farm is a family-owned, 49-acre farm. It’s open, clear land, with a 3 acre pond, a beautiful spot in Holly Corner. Someone is at home, on the property, 24 hours a day. Easy to get to, we are located right off route 17 & 5 miles from 95, right behind Stafford Lakes. My family has lived in Holly Corner since the 1800s, it is safe and quiet. Come enjoy the fresh air, beautiful view, relaxing farm with your dog or dogs! We are a different type of a working farm, as we provide storage and camping on the property and we also grow hay. There is many areas on the farm that one can go that you cannot see others, the road or the other side of the farm. Enjoy your visit!
