We have a spacious, secure private fenced and peaceful yard, in a quiet and dog friendly neighborhood. Easy parking on the street outside the house, and a side entry gate. Patio heated available during the colder months. Our yard has sunny areas, as well as plenty of trees providing natural shade and much needed coolness during those hot humid summer days. A natural wooded yard that borders a county park on one side, with a 7ft wooden privacy fence all the way around the property, the front and neighbor side sections are double sided, so a perfect solution for reactive pups and a side entry gate. Completely pesticide/herbicide/fertilizer free yard! Our ground cover is soft playground wood chips, soft for all pup paws, specifically designed to be comfortable for all kinds of furbabies! The playground chips are a natural tick repellent. We are open during rainy weather too for those of you with rain loving pups! The overhangs, patio umbrella and tree coverage keep paw parents dry too! Added bonuses, the chips dry quickly, there's no mud or slippery grass. You can also enjoy a deck with a patio table, cushioned chairs, lawn chair seating and a hammock! We also provide poop bags, doggie wipes and towels, extra dog water bowls, kiddie pools and outdoor spigot with hose for water bowl refills or hose play in the warmer months, elevated feeders for the pups who cannot bend down very well to drink and a few refreshments for humans too! Endless amounts of smells and sniffing opportunities from all the local wildlife that frequent our yard. Good space for running, playing chase, frisbee, tennis ball, chuck it, for the energetic pups, and plenty of space for meandering, or just lounging around under the shade or in sun spots for the more mature pups! The public park next to us has several wooded trails, so if your pup has any energy left, it is a nice park to walk. **Our priority is opening up our space for your furbabies to enjoy to their heart's content. If you need to bring your human children too, please make sure they are well behaved, respectful of our property and possessions, and under your mature supervision at all times! Smoking, vaping, alcohol and glass containers are NOT permitted at our spot. All 100% of booking proceeds are donated to rescue groups saving neglected/abused/sick/healthy unwanted pets dumped in overcrowded high kill shelters - including recurring monthly donations to Pets With Disabilities; Lizzy's Lodge Rescue; Miri's Legacy; Angel's Among Us Pet Rescue; Shadows Sanctuary; Southside SPCA; HART; and Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. There are open areas for dogs to stretch their legs and chase each other and flowers, shade and seating for their human companion(s). There is a 𝙢𝙖𝙣-𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 (more detail below) in the back that depending on rainfall, may be running full or just at a trickle. It is ideal for your pup to explore and cool off in. The yard offers plenty of great 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩 opportunities to take tons of pictures throughout the various seasons. The yard is a 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩®, we are trying to help nature where and when we can. The flower beds have been designed for local critters - birds, turtles, pollinators, etc so absolutely no killing of any bees, butterflies, spiders, turtles, snakes, birds or other wildlife you may find. It also means you will likely encounter gnats, mosquitos and possibly ticks - all great bird food but not so nice for us humans and our pups. So please be sure your pup is current on their preventatives. We do provide bug spray for you to use - just be sure to use in the lawn and not near any of the flower beds. In the summer months grass may get a little taller to help out the fireflies. If you can, take a cool pic to share - we'd love to see it. Do a photo safari. 𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: To help ensure a safe environment for visiting pups and our own, guests will need to provide current 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 for rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo, etc) for EACH dog visiting. Happy to answer any questions. 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 - This is a man-made stream that that typically runs in the warmer months and is initially filled with either city water or rainfall. That said, Mother Nature adds to it so we do recommend your pup have his/her 𝙇𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤 vaccine. The stream is usually shutdown or just a trickle in the winter months with some water remaining at the end to help support the frogs overwinter. Please do not allow digging or rough play in the stream - we want to keep it in good shape for all our guests to enjoy and avoid costly repairs. If it is important to your visit that the stream is running and at what level (full/trickle) please reach out to the Host to check its status. 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧 - Our site is set for a 4 dog limit. If you would like to bring additional dogs, please send a message. The request will be considered on a case by case basis. If you want a key date/time, I recommend securing it with a reservation for one dog and then updating the reservation once we have talked. 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦 - There are some spots at the bottom of the fence a small dog (cat size) might be able to get under - they are meant for our cats and other wildlife. If you are bringing a small dog, let me know and we can block the openings ahead of time. 𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧- Maximum of 2 vehicles per reservation. If a 3rd vehicle will be brought, please select and add "Extra F - Extra Vehicle" to your reservation and send us a note so we can make sure there is sufficient space. 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 - Children under 18 are to be supervised at all times. Parents are responsible for any and all damage their child causes. 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗦 - Extras will change depending on the season. If you don't see something you might like, let us know and we'll be happy to consider it. There are two generic party options but if you would like to customize one, please reach out and we'll put a package together for you. My pup Birdie and I had a wonderful time at the FurBaby Freedom Park this morning! The host was so wonderful - she met us at the beginning of our time window to show us around. The Sniffspot was very clean and comfortable, complete with clean water, toys, treats, an agility course, and a kiddie pool for the pup, and chairs, drinks, and hand sanitizer for the humans. Birdie loved the pool and agility course, and getting her zoomies out in a new spot! Great spot - we'll definitely be back! =)

Great experience! Host met us at the gate and gave us a personal introduction to the sniff spot, which was exactly as described in the listing. My dog is a jumper, and I felt very secure with the high quality, tall fencing around the yard, which was stocked with everything we could have asked for. The dogs had a great time running, jumping and chasing our flying squirrel toys. The wood chips covering the yard seemed to be very comfortable for the dogs' paws, and made for a great play surface.

Another great visit, this time after the snow. Driveway, sidewalk, and path shoveled to the gate entrance. The whole deck was shoveled and anti-slip mats were down. And the patio heater on! Teddy had a great time sniffing in the snow and sunbathing on the deck.

Fantastic evening visit for my dog Beckham, and the dog I am watching, Rhaegar! This backyard has a wonderful mix of flat space and hill areas for them to run around. There were balls and toys out, beverages, a heat lamp, and the host even reached out prior to let us know that with the snow it was a little icy. Despite the cold, the two dogs had an amazing time running around and having a blast! We will definitely be returning

Catriona and her pack are wonderful hosts! She had water set up for the pup, refreshments for dog parents, a bunch of toys to choose from, waste bags, you name it! Came with my girl Elsie, and she had a blast running around in all the different areas of the yard. The wood chip covering is great - it rained a bunch the day before we went so I was worried about mud, but it was nice and dry. Very secure fence and lovely private space to get out some energy. Will definitely be coming back! 😊🐕

Excellent spot! Tall fence so no worries for jumping dogs. Lots of smells for the pups. Very peaceful. The host is very welcoming and had toys, treats, water, and drinks for the humans all prepared when we arrived. Will definitely be revisiting. The host does have dogs but they stay in the house and you can not tell they are there. Highly recommend.

Great size and sight-lines so you can keep an eye on your dog at all times without following them around. Mostly closed fencing all the way around, with a couple chain link sections. Toys, water bowl, and other amenities in the basket were greatly appreciated! Grass was well-maintained and my dog had a great time exploring.
