What an amazing place! Not too buggy, even in August after much rain! My dog Obie and I walked the trail around the property. He loved being off-leash and safely able to explore. It was very hot today, but there is ample shade under the tree canopy. My dog went over threshold with excitement because of the horses. They were new for us. But the horses were remarkably calm, considering that Obie is a BIG dog (90 lbs) and managed to get into the paddock and then wanted to chase the horses around and around and... Thank you, Tess, for coming to our rescue! The "Obie chases the horses" part of our visit was stressful, but Tess's positive and calming attitude helped us through it, and we were able to end on a better note after visiting one of the ponds to cool down. I look forward to visiting again, and I highly recommend this SniffSpot. 100%.

My Dalmatian Diana loved seeing horses for the first time, and I appreciated the courteousness of the hosts. Their detailed explanations of procedures and policies made for a smooth experience, and although my map reading skills are far from adequate, the one they provided was incredibly helpful, and they’ve thought of just about everything to ensure a safe and successful adventure with your pup. As noted in their welcome message, it would behoove you to bring insect repellent. I seem to be bit more frequently than most people, and left with only two mosquito bites after spending an hour there. Would definitely recommend!

Just an amazing spot and host. What a huge, fun location. My dog loved every aspect of it! So much more to see. We already saw a beautiful lily pad pond, waterfalls and got to feed our apples to very friendly horses!!! Just fantastic!!

So grateful this family has opened their property for others to enjoy. The horses are lovely and so is the scenery. There is a little bit of a walk to get to the ponds and I have a very old dog who got stuck in the little one, not a complaint at all just something to keep in mind for the future. It’s definitely important to keep the walk back to the car in mind if you have a slower dog as far as timing goes. We are so happy to have been able to take our old lady here and she was as well. We can never thank canter woods farm enough for sharing their slice of happiness with us.

This has got to be the best sniff spot I have been too. Nova had so much fun being able to run off the leash on the trails. In the past she was fear reactive towards horses but she seemed to really like these horses especially the black horse. They were super friendly horses. Thank you for letting us explore your property. We had so much fun!

Our dog had a wonderful time running around the property and we enjoyed time in a quiet, natural setting. I had to ask Tess a couple of questions and she was very gracious about answering them. I’ve been here about 15 times with both my pups and every time is great. I live in an apartment so this is the perfect place for them to get their energy out in a safe environment.

This is a very nice yard to give multiple pups a good run. The fence is very sturdy and the yard is private for my reactive dog. Water access is great and it’s well shaded for myself and the pups to escape the Florida heat and sun. Easy access to and from your car and the property owner is respectful and conscious of notifying of any possible issues.

A beautiful yard for my 2 dogs to get some well needed exercise. Well shaded with plenty of trees for the hot Florida summers. Just the right size for what my dogs need. Water available under the bird bath.

This place is perfect; I'm not kidding. 100% fully fenced, nice clean grass (pick up after your own dog poop though), water, great host, easy parking & a place to sit. If your fur-child needs a great, safe spot, then this is it!
