Our open, rural spot is the perfect location to exercise your big boys and girls! With ample room to fetch, sniff, and run, your doggos will LOVE our spot! A few things to note: - This is a multiple acre property. Lots of room! - We do have chickens (in an enclosed run) in the yard which is accessible. - Our property does have a pond. In Florida there is ALWAYS a risk with wildlife in open country (eg. Gators, Snakes, bobcats, hawks, turtles) however feel free to let your dogs swim if you’d like to. Bring towels! - 3 sides of the property are fenced (back side is electric), but the front is lined with a culvert. The only way off the property is by driveway. - Fish food is provided! You’re welcome to feed. Don't forget to bring water for yourself as there is no shade, YET! More amenities will be added over time.

Humans must pay an extra $5 per person charge to swim in the pool and NO DIVING is allowed. The fee is accessible under “EXTRAS”. There are external security cameras on the property. You are required to follow pre and post stay rules which are sent 2 hours prior. Please note: double/long/shedding breeds will need to be brushed/raked prior to arrival. This helps keep the pool clean and everything running. Please read everything carefully to make sure this is a good match for you and your dog. This is 100% a non smoking property. Do not smoke anything while at my property. The pool vacuum hose is always in the pool and my dogs just swim over it. If this will be an issue for you or your dogs, please don’t book. Enjoy!

Always a pleasure to visit Canter Woods Farm! Our third visit and we discovered a new little trail. Fed the horses apple slices and carrots which I’m sure they appreciated, wish I lived closer to this magical place!

Great place to take your dog, plenty of space for your dogs to run/play. They have plenty of shade/seating areas incase you or your dog get tired from all that playing, they have a nice water area for dogs to take a swim, and 3 beautiful VERY friendly horses. ( If your dog has never been introduced to horses I would just be extra careful because the white horse pen has a little opening that your dog could squeeze through and run into the pen like mine did. It may seem scary at first but just remain calm and quickly go in and remove your dog. Trust me the horses will not bother you or purposefully hurt your dog! They will only defend themselves if necessary) The owner is super nice and responds quickly if you have any problems. Love this place will definitely be coming back!

It truly is a perfect place for dogs to run around! We have two littles that hate water and would never go in the pool or any water whatsoever… well, they both swam in the pond, we had to give them a bath when we came home.. they are sleeping on the couch right now, exhausted. They absolutely LOVED it and so did we! Planning on coming back soon!

Absolutely wonderful! A fantastic find in our own backyard. Tess, the owner, is extremely kind and thoughtful. The property is secure, grounds are immaculately clean with thoughtful guests picking up after their pets. We had two small dogs with us. They loved being near and going into the small dog pond and we enjoyed sitting and looking at the water lilies. It was the first time my adopted pet has run free since I got him 9 months ago. He loved every minute of it. We plan to return next week and do it all over again. Thank you, Tess, for opening your farm and allowing our dogs just to be dogs. They ran, played, fetched and were exhausted on the way home. It could not have been a better experience.

My friend Lizzie and I love to take our dogs to Canter Wood. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Her dog can't wait to get to the little dog pond where mine has no interest. Mine will run after her dog when Lizzie throws a ball. They get so much exercise that both fall asleep in the car on the way home. For both dogs it is the best part of their week.

This place is great! I drove an hour just to run around with my dog for two hours and it was totally worth it! I will definitely come back. The communication with the host was outstanding and the instructions where detailed and easy to follow. A++++ next time I'll bring some carrots and apples slices for the horses.

We drove over an hour to visit and will definitely be doing it again. I originally reserved the spot for 4 hours thinking “there is no way we’ll stay that long but it gives us time to arrive late and be gone well before the next guest arrives” but it turns out we totally could spend a whole day here. My pup loved sniffing along all of the trails, he was fascinated by the horses, and he enjoyed splashing around in the smallest pond. We will without a doubt be coming here again.
