Fully fenced beautifully landscaped space in the Fishtown area, tons of natural shade and perfect for welcoming dogs and their humans of all ages. Please note: oak, mimosa, black walnut, black locust and ginkgo are all common in Philadelphia and all produce seeds/fruit that are poisonous to dogs. All these types of seeds may be found in my yard in the fall, carried by squirrels or dropped from my own trees, so please use caution if your dog is prone to eating vegetation or tree litter!

🐶♥️We have a reactive dog that is afraid of people and I thought it would be such a great opportunity to share our space that we love so much with other people who have reactive dogs or who just don’t have a fenced in yard! This is a safe space for all! ♥️ You will be able to use our driveway. Pull all the way into the driveway and take your dog from your car, directly into the fenced in yard. Theyard is about 3500 to 4000 ft.² around the side of the yard is an area with a table and chairs also a small screened in porch that you are welcome to use with your pup! I will make sure that there is a dog bowl and bags for picking up poop available for you. Trash cans are right as soon as you park! If your dog is not reactive, or if you are working on reactivity, there is gate that exits out through the other side of our yard and you enter the Wissahickon Trail, you are more than welcome to walk the public trail with your leashed dog! My husband built a small rock trail to guide you into the main trail. Also, the patio and chairs are a great spot for people who are working from home. You’re more than welcome to hang out there while your dog get some sniffs and energy out. There have been some changes which I added and thank you for visiting our yard🤗 My mother had a doggie daycare business on this property for almost 15 years. We have watched puppies grow to old dogs and have watched next generations come here. She has retired her business and now we have the land just for my 5 year old son and my dogs. Which he loves 😂 but we have room to share. You can bring your furry family members over here and enjoy our space too 🤗 Hey my son loves dogs and would love to play ball or with toys and get your dog's energy out if your dog loves kids. He loves kids and if you have kids coming my son would love to show your kids what kind of outside toys he has to share. It's in a separated fence so you can still see the kids but not have any dogs peeing on the toys. Just shoot me a message and say you would love for us to come out and say Hi. We are usually home in case you were to need anything anyway. Also, a few things since I started this a year ago. First I had no idea I would get this many visitors and we are absolutely loving that people have somewhere to take their doggy around here. Recently a tree had fell through. The back fence only took down a small part and we were able to repair. The fence has a little hole from half a piece missing at the top but no dogs can get through and the picture is provided. A nice part of the tree is left which we are hoping to turn into a bench sometime soon. The dogs have been jumping up on it, walking on it and so has my son. If it is something you are not okay with, I understand and you do not have to come here. But I can assure you we do our best to keep our fence safe for our family and yours. Also added a tiny baby pool. In case your doggies want to take a little dip on a hot day. I can leave it empty by the hose and you can feel it and just dump it out before you leave. Lastly, there is a hammock in the back right side of the yard under the only trees we have left out there 🤦‍♀️ so you can get some shade and you can bring the chairs out there.
