Welcome to my beautiful fully fenced in yard! Located on 1/4 of an acre in the Hudson Valley, your pup will have a large private outdoor space to run, sniff and play to their hearts desire. Our home has a private driveway and plenty of street parking. We have a private gate entrance for guests, and a beautiful patio with comfortable lounge chairs under a shaded pergola for humans to enjoy while your pup plays with a yard full of toys! Need essentials? We’ve got you covered. Hose access and bowls for pup drinking water, a doggy first aid kit, pooper scooper, and trash can. Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water bowl/container- we do have a hose available for fill ups. Hope to have you for a visit soon! Overall, the spot is quiet but please read the detailed sections about people, dogs, and domestic animals that can be seen/heard from our spot prior to booking. Ample room to run or take a swim. Bring your own frisbee, balls etc and romp away. The pavilion provides shelter from hot sun or sudden showers. Enjoy beaver, heron, bald eagle sightings….pack a picnic and relax w your furry best friend by the side of Wappingers Creek in the hamlet of salt point. Park is winterized so bathrooms/available Mid May-October.

The space is bordered one the south side, closest to the house, by a high, old, stone wall. Another side has a partial 4’ chain link fence. There are woods on the remaining borders.

Welcome pups & humans! Our fully-fenced dog run is a flat 60x30 feet area with low grass, dog toys, treats, water bowls, and treated with organic pest control for ticks and mosquitoes. Fencing is high for bigs, and goes completely down to the ground for littles! What we make thru Sniffspot goes to the care of animals we rescue! About 1/3 is shaded, Wi-Fi, covered porch and a dedicated shed aka “pup parlor” with sofa and chair to chill out in inclement weather. If added, we can set up the kiddie pool for your visit. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and water for the humans. Pup playground is located on a 4-acre property (you can also have access to) called Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (www.gracelandmeadows.org) where we save pets and farm animals from cruel lives and needless deaths. The spot is named for our recently departed Rocco, our love and inspiration! Sniffspot fee goes to the care of the rescued animals. Currently we’re home to two rescued horses, six chickens, and four companion birds, located in their own separate enclosed areas. We have two rescued dogs permanently sanctuaried here for a year+ and possibly another one or two at times that we’re fostering. My dogs will be inside when you visit — unless you’d like your dog to have a playmate … in which case, happy to discuss and try out a playdate. Beautiful open field both in front and back. Located on a road with farms and horses right next door. There is also and small fenced in area that can be used for those dogs who would like something more intimate. There are chickens on the property but they do not bother. The property is 10 acres and if requested owner and pet can take a hike down the property.

Lots of grass, perimeter of the yard can be dug in as well as around the swing set. Fully fenced. There is a pool, but it's use is not permitted since there is no entry/exit access for your dog.

Roughly 2 acres of free-roaming land for your dog! Lots of space to run around and play, getting all wiggles out! We have a great view as well from the front yard, as well as chairs and a table on the backyard patio. Our land is surrounded by bushes, trees, and the woods, with the front yard bordered by a small stream/ditch.

Welcome to our English countryside-esque dog walking area! Located near the amazing Catskills, in the Poconos. We are located 11 min from beautiful Calicoon NY, 14 min from Honesdale PA, 28 min from Narrowsburg NY, and many more wonderful vacation, recreation and restaurant spots along the Delaware river! We have nearly 8 acres of rewilded pasture with dog walking paths throughout that connect through miniature woodland paths (keep your eyes peeled during the summer months, we have raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mint, and cattails on the paths to munch, and apples in fall, from over 100 year old heritage varieties! We just ask that you do not pick from the new baby orchard trees, they are individually fenced and easy to see). As well as natures treats throughout, we have a miniature maze in progress for little dogs & kids, a dip-able creek for dogs & humans, and a nice size pond that is swim friendly for dogs only (step in only friendly recommended for humans). These are the paths we walk our three dogs on, and we can attest to their love and enjoyment! There is a picnic table, electrical outlet and chairs by the pond, and sitting rocks by the creek near the bridge on most days the rewilding isn’t too wild. This is not fully fenced, but dogs that can be walked off leash are welcome to run. We are surrounded by a hill and guardrail on the road side, a creek on the back side with a neighboring property beyond that, and a hedge/manmade stream on the other, so it is good for trained dogs to leap around free in! Small dogs are welcome in our small fenced in area if needed to run around off leash and are not comfortable in the field off leash (just pick up after them especially in the garden). This is a rural area, but we rarely have wildlife sightings during the day due to our location on a main road, and our 3 dogs. Mostly bald eagles in spring. I’ve never heard of any issues because we have plenty of natural food sources for the eagles, but be cautious if you have a miniature breed loose in the field. Two of our 3 dogs are very well behaved nearly 10 year old lab collie mixes who love playing and run off leash. So if you want some play time for your pup, they would love to join! Our younger dog unfortunately is a stubborn Anatolian Shepherd who if loose would go looking for neighborhood chickens in lieu of playing, so she will wait her turn for after your visit no matter the request. This is a small starter orchard of heritage fruit, and our family home with children, so someone dog or human will be home most days. Please let us know if you would like to use the fenced in garden/yard area completely free of human activity, as well as the standard dog-free. We want to make sure your dogs time here suits their needs. For anyone with non-social dogs especially, we are happy to book when we are not home for your peace of mind, just let us know! We are always dog free from sight (but not always sound in the garden/yard area, but we do try.) Playtime with our dogs can be requested to wear out your pup (this can be provided human free as well, our dogs are call friendly even with strangers).
