Welcome to our farm retreat, just a short drive from historic Gettysburg! Here, your pups can enjoy 6 acres of fully fenced space right next to Oakside Community Park. It’s a peaceful spot where they can run, sniff, and play to their heart’s content. We value your privacy—so when we're home, we'll make sure to stay out of your way! If we're around, we'll have fresh water waiting for your pup. We also provide waste bags, tennis balls, hand sanitizer, and a table with chairs to make your visit as comfortable as possible. We take care to keep the pastures tidy for every guest, and we’d love your help by cleaning up after your pets. Your thoughts mean a lot to us, so feel free to share any suggestions or ideas!

We are centrally located near York Hospital and York College. Easy access with off street parking. Dog towels are provided when the pool is open. Pool closes in October and reopens in April each year. Weather permitting, the large back yard is open year round.

Roulette's Retreat - in honor of our dog who we lost to cancer. Conveniently located near Route 74 and Route 30. Fully fenced with 5ft chain link - the neighbor does have one dog that may be outside. The fences are over 10 feet apart. Small, simple yard with enough room for zoomies & fetch. The concrete patio in the backyard has a table and chairs with a shade sail over it. Small kiddie pool, food/water dishes, poop bags, and towels available for use upon request.

Wylie's Dog Yard is a fully fenced half acre grass area located between a cow pasture and a pond. It includes a few trees that provide shade. This beautiful spot is a great place for dogs to run and chase balls.

Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE. NOTE: If you want to walk your pup on our nature trail please stop in at Playful Pups and speak to one of our reception team.

We are so excited to host any and all dogs who enjoy to run, play, and splash! Our yard is complete fenced in and secure, which provides a sense of relief for owners. Our property has lots of plant life, which provides a great opportunity for dogs to play hide and seek, or maybe just explore new areas! Off street parking right on Route 30. Families traveling from nearby areas like Gettysburg, York, Harrisburg, Baltimore, and more, feel free to pull off the side of the highway and allow your dogs to run free! My yard is fenced in with a 4ft tall fence. Slats are located closely together to allow dogs of all sizes to play! Poop bags are provided as well as a trash receptacle on site, please clean up after yourself and your pet. There is a hanging dog rope attachment that you can attach various toys too and a small bin of toys for play, rerun dirty toys to dirty bin to be sanitized before the next friend.
