Be sure your dogs know how to swim and that they are aware of the drop-off at the shallow end. Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE. Hello, and welcome to Iron Mine Dog Run. Our corner lot is in the quiet country setting of Londonderry Township/Middletown and offers little to no distractions for your pup. There is a picnic table, large front porch, porch swing, and patio table and chairs for resting. Our fenced in area is VERY bright when it gets dark. We have 4 floodlights on the side of the house, string lights & valance on the front porch, and a LED valance on the back porch. We also have LED motion sensing lights on the fence posts throughout the yard. There is a spigot with a hose and sprinkler for those hot days, or to fill your pups water dish! There are many shaded spots to get away from the sun around the yard as well. We love where we live because of the scenery, quietness, and low traffic volumes. I know how difficult it was when I lived in my apartment to get my dogs out and running to exhaust some of their pent up energy. I loved when I saw this app and knew I could offer that space, away from other dogs like at the dog park for anyone to let their dogs run and have fun without the stress of being in a busy social environment. They are not able to get out and are secured during every visit.

Designed for a highly aggressive animals. The compound was built for a Micheal Vick rescue (rip). The fence is built like a castle with decking material. It has coyote rollers- that roll a pup back into the yard if it tries to jump a 6' fence. I know what it's like to have an aggressive dog that can't be off leash. They can here! Dog trainer owns the premises. Free advice is normally a knock away.

A huge tree was removed not too long ago. There is still chips that have to be cleaned up in the middle of the yard. Otherwise there’s chairs around a fire pit where you may relax and a huge umbrella that can give you shade. There’s is also a hammock you may enjoy! Do bring bug spray because there are some mosquitos.
