Our dog passed away in 2021 and due to health reasons we cannot have another one at this time. We love dogs and know Xena would love knowing her yard is helping other dogs get their zoomies on. NEW - Seasonally we will limit days to Sunday - Wednesday to accommodate mowers.

It’s a peaceful spot where they can run, sniff, and play to their heart’s content. We value your privacy—so when we're home, we'll make sure to stay out of your way! If we're around, we'll have fresh water waiting for your pup. We also provide waste bags, tennis balls, hand sanitizer, and a table with chairs to make your visit as comfortable as possible. I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. We can even accommodate large groups or even your puppies birthday party!

There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car bed, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

We are centrally located near York Hospital and York College. Easy access with off street parking. Dog towels are provided when the pool is open. Pool closes in October and reopens in April each year. Weather permitting, the large back yard is open year round.

Our home is down a quiet road that ends on a cul de sac, you may park in the driveway or the street. There are 2 available gates on either side of the house. Beyond the gates, you will find a basic family yard. Grass is trimmed. There's a play-set, a welcoming patio, and a few chairs around a fire pit. It's a great space to throw a ball or sit and let your dog explore. We do have neighbor dogs that may say hi at the fence. Message me if you need wifi or have any questions! Roulette's Retreat - in honor of our dog who we lost to cancer. Conveniently located near Route 74 and Route 30. Fully fenced with 5ft chain link - the neighbor does have one dog that may be outside. The fences are over 10 feet apart. Small, simple yard with enough room for zoomies & fetch. The concrete patio in the backyard has a table and chairs with a shade sail over it. Small kiddie pool, food/water dishes, poop bags, and towels available for use upon request.
