55We had a fantastic visit. So much room for our pups to run around, they are highly reactive but there were little to no distractions to trigger them and they were able to just run and play. Plenty of space to throw a ball and play fetch. Lots of fun new smells and enough shade for a warmer days. A bench to sit would be my only suggestion, but I think guests could also easily bring a folding chair. We will definitely be back again! Thank you Kat!!!Sergio R. We had a fantastic visit. 55My husband and I met both Kat & her husband before going onto the property with our pup. They are super friendly and sweet.
We enjoyed our stay as our pup roamed around freely the entire time on the property.

55Thank you to the hosts, Kathy and Sam for making your spot available! When I arrived Sam met us outside my car and guided us on where to go. It’s such a large property. If your pup is an escape artist, I’d bring a leash, it’s particularly fenced. But so so so much to explore. We booked an hour but didn’t have enough time to find the pond and the rest of the Sniffspot, so we’ll have to book our next visit. There’s other animals on property but they couldn’t be seen or heard from the Sniffspot area. If you’ve been eyeing this spot, go check it out!Genevieve S.

55A Rustic Retreat for Pet Stay:
My recent pet stay had a hiccup initially, but once settled, it was a unique and enjoyable experience.
The location, though remote, exuded a rustic charm. Limited fencing might concern some, but it added to the authentic farm feel. Cats and chickens near the main house added a quirky touch, reflecting the lively atmosphere of a working orchard.
Being a working orchard, I didn't expect vast open spaces, but the street-sized pathways provided ample room for playtime with my dog. Visiting during winter meant a brown and hibernating landscape, but I could imagine the promise of vibrant views during the spring or summer months.
Yes, there's a fair amount of dirt, but it's all part of the working farm experience. Remember to bring your dog toys and water, and be prepared for your furry friend to get dirty. Despite the initial hiccup and the winter hues, I'd gladly visit again. The unique charm and potential for better views in warmer seasons make it a promising destination for pet owners seeking a different kind of Sniffspot.

55Nice spot! My dog loved all the smells and being able to run off lead. If you have a reactive dog this is a great spot to visit as its remote and there were no other people/dogs. There is a fairly busy road near the property and it is not fully fenced so be sure to watch out for that. There were cats that remained close to the home and those were the only other animals I saw the entire time. My dog loved this spot I cant wait to take her again.Monique S. Nice spot! 55We loved this spot! We made the drive from NE Fresno and it was definitely worth it.
There's lots to explore and the owners of the property are very friendly. My two dogs are seniors and can only handle about 45 minutes of romping around, but I would highly recommend booking up to 2 hours here if you have a young dog full of energy!
We stayed close to (what I think was) the river. There wasn't any water in it, but my dogs had a blast munching on the bank grass, wading through the muddier spots, and smelling all the smells.
We did see two dogs on the back end of the property while we were driving around looking for the river - one was a doodle and the other probably some kind of kelpie mix. They looked well fed & groomed, so I would assume they were a neighbor's dogs. We use SniffSpot because my German Shepherd has severe dog-directed aggression and finding conducive forms of exercise for him is hard. We found an area further away from the property line and didn't run into them again! Just something to be aware of if your dog has similar issues 🙂Sandra M.

55Near the far back corner of the property we did see a medium-large white dog on the adjacent property that I’m not sure was contained so we avoided that area.
There are beehives but the bees didn’t bother us and we gave the hives space. Interesting to see beekeeping!
When you pull into the main driveway at the house there’s chickens around so be careful if your dogs would go after chickens.
A better way to access the walkable area is a dirt road that goes into the orchard area. You can pull off from Dover avenue to a dirt road that runs alongside the “riverside ditch” (as it’s labeled in google maps). From that point there wasn’t any sight or sound of the chickens.
There is a restroom but it’s a portable.
There is a canal / ditch, at pretty much every point it’s sloped enough that any dog that might go in could get out. No water while we were there. There’s also some sharp farming machinery stored out there that could cut a dog or person if they’re oblivious.
I’m not complaining at all, just want others to know what I noted. We plan to be back in the future! Hanna M.
