55This is the best way to let your dogs just be dogs without having to be on alert, constantly advocate for your dog, or worry as an owner. We were pleasantly greeted by one of the property owners and she was so nice and inviting, their property was gorgeous, spacious and perfect for fetch! My pups are still tired out and happy hours later! Thank you for providing a great space! We’ll definitely be back!Tara E.

551st time @ a sniff spot!
The owner came out to greet us , she was very nice!
Onyx & I enjoyed this location a lot , love that there was grass and fully fenced!
Has a water spout and bowls for the dogs , a gazebo with chairs and a table, which was great for cooling off !
Definitely will return and next time getting the pool for onyx !
We saw a horse next door , both onyx and the horse where unbothered by each others presence.
Thank you 🥰Janira P.

55Great spot!! Will definitely be back again. The host was very friendly and the area is a ball throwing haven. My dog promptly lost his ball touring the grass but there were some extras under the gazebo which was a really nice touch. Giulianna C.

55This is our go-to spot and with the patches of longer grass and flowers it's so lovely right now. Lots of sniffs! Simon and his BFF Joy have amazing playdates here.
For others planning to use the spot keep in mind there are horses hanging out in the pastures/turn out next door. They are very chill and used to dogs but occasionally our dogs get a little too fascinated. It's good for recall practice.. Heather W.

55Fabulous environment. 2 acres was perfect in size for our dog to run and train in. A wonderful pathway cut short around the circumference and short growth in the center. Secure fencing, great spot for owners to sit and watch, and dog to relax (ha ha ha in our case). Water provided, shaded pergola with two chairs. We will be returning!!Kathleen R.

55Great place to take your pups. Well maintained & beautiful. The owners are very nice & came out to say ‘hello’ & answer any questions when we arrived. We have 3 very small dogs & while it was fully fenced, there were a few spots where they could have gotten out if unsupervised - Not an issue if your dog is over 20lbs. Great find!!Kat F.

55Nice big open space for Gracie (our pit bull mix breed) who is 1 year and 3.5 weeks old today.
The host was kind enough to open the gate for us. I had missed the house number and turned into wrong lot so had to turn around and that’s when they flagged me down to show me where to pull into.
There’s a shaded area for us humans to watch our dog from, and there is water there under the same area.
I don’t think Gracie knew what to do with all the open space because she’s so used to being confined to the home so I would say this was a treat for her / to be outside and to be able to run and smell and discover whatever her nose led her to.
Gracie was very relaxed and I did confirm with the host to see if there would be other dogs scheduled at the same time (which I was concerned about since we are still trying to train her in the basics) and they had said no and so we had the entire 2 acres to ourselves.
One hour flew by pretty quickly and I think Gracie was tired half way through, as evidenced by her just laying in the shade instead of running around.
It was a warm day so maybe that had an effect on her not wanting to run around as much as I thought she would.
I think all dogs that are new to any new area will be cautious at first before they allow themselves to feel safe and to roam around.
This is a safe space for big dogs like Gracie, and it’s fenced off so you don’t have to worry about losing her.
I highly recommend this spot if you have dogs that just need that open space to run and get their energy out.
There was a blue ball that I found that Gracie loved to chase after - that was really the only time I could get her to run by triggering her instinct to chase after something.
It’s also a beautiful location.
We will try to come back and a schedule something maybe later in the day when it isn’t so warm to see if she responds better or maybe we need to take her early in the morning.
This is my first experience with this app as it was recommended by our dog trainer - Penny Locke.
She said we need to work on Gracie’s basics first before we introduce her to the world as she is a rescue animal that we adopted from the humane society. Vinh N.

FAQ about our Lower Lake dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Lower Lake?
There are 20 dog fields in the Lower Lake area. The most popular dog field is “Pep's Place”. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Lower Lake area range from $4.0 and $4.0. The least expensive dog field is Finn Hill hood. The most expensive dog field is Finn Hill hood. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
