About 65 acres is walkable and we have trails throughout. We are learning as we go, and hope to provide you and your dogs a fun day. If you have any question feel free to ask. And remember, we love dogs just as much as you do. There are a few important points we'd like you to consider. We like to meet our new guests for the first time. This gives us a chance to get to know you better and also put friendly faces to us, the hosts. We want you to feel welcome and know that we care about your dogs. We have several trails that split out to other trails. There will be signs to help you navigate through them, and some suggestions that will help you keep track of remaining time. In the colder months, running water will not be provided. We will also reserve the right to cancel the appointment if we get heavy snow squalls. Our plan is to keep the trails plowed, but in the event of a snow storm, it may take us a few days to get the trails plowed. In general, we will not be open past dusk, unless you specifically ask us and are aware of the risks of walking in the dark. I always walk my dogs on winter nights. Just carry some sort of flashlight. We currently have an electric gate that can only be opened by us at the gate, and not remotely. When a guest arrives, we will be there to open the gate for you, close it once you're in, and open it again upon your departure. Lastly a note about safety. Safety is important to us, but please note that you are entering nature. Our spot is home to many small animals, including porcupines. If your dogs are into porcupines, I would stay cautious of your pets entering the dense bush and recommend they stick to the trails instead. The probability of spotting a porcupine though is very low. Other animals will simply not bother human visitors and their dog companions. You may spot a deer or two if you're lucky that day. Deer are mostly friendly, but I would suggest keeping your distance if you spot a buck. However, they typically flee when they spot you. In all my years spotting buck, I've never seen one charge at anyone. Still, be safe. Although very rare, you many spot a coyote. Once again, they generally don't bother humans. If you spot one, keep your dogs close. Coyotes don't like confrontations with humans, so your dogs will be safe if by your side.

You may park in the private driveway. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. After a heavy rainfall you will want to wear your rubber boots. This was our first time coming here. Great location and our dogs absolutely had a BLAST! This would be a lot more enjoyable for the humans in the summer months. Obviously at no fault of anyone but mother nature lol, the snow was extremely deep and difficult to walk in as it was at our knees. Was not very enjoyable for us humans however just seeing how happy our dogs were made it completely worth it. We would definitely bring snowshoes next time. Signage posted was great and easy to follow. We can’t wait to come here in the spring once the snow is gone! :)

First time back this year and it was a great visit. A new dog was added to the family over the winter and that made for an even more interesting hike. Lexi was so happy to be back and she showed Hunter the way. The first pond is full to the top and the second as well. Still a little muddy with a little trail washout but mostly on the first section but really good considering the weather. Very good hike indeed.

Great place for a safe hike ! Our husky has great recall but turns into a toddler wanting to stay longer at the park when it’s time to leave, can be difficult to leash him back up at times. This trail gave us the security of having a fenced in area but the freedom of a forested trail ! Definitely bring bug spray and some towels ! The splash pong is a swampy but worked wonders to help keep the pup cool. 10/10 ! For any owners with reactive dogs wondering, the doggy day camp was far enough away that we could hear the big pups barking a bit but did not see any dogs and was only at the beginning of the trail where the parking was. Host was also very lovely, greeted us when we arrived and gave us clear direction.

That was by far the most enjoyable walk I’ve had with Xander. From the moment I arrived and saw Cathy waiting near the gate to meet me I knew right away his safety was a top priority.
