Sniffspot Welcome to Tell Tail Farm! A private 2 acre-fully fenced yard with horses and chickens coming home in spring of 2025. We have an additional 3 acres of woods and a pond that is UNFENCED at the back of the property that is accessible through a gate that you are also welcome to explore. We get plenty of wild animals in our yard and have dogs of our own so there are PLENTY! Of smells for your pets to enjoy. All humans and pets will stay inside for your visit unless requested otherwise. When we get a lot of rain, a small pond forms in the back of the yard (pictured) but it’s not there in the extreme summer heat. I have a kiddy pool, water bowls and a hose outside that is usable in the spring, summer and fall. Toys, poop bags, chairs for humans, a nice patio to sit on, picnic table, and a fire pit patio with string lights all available for use! Hand sanitizer is also available and if it rains, we will open up the garage for a rain shelter with chairs! We do not use any pesticides or fertilizer on our property but will spray for ticks in the spring and summer. We cut the grass 1-2x per week but even more in the spring to keep the grass super short and our house sits on top of a hill for added exercise. Trails throughout, 3 acre lake, fenced in 24 acres. So much to do and explore. This is a natural area including woods and lake. Recall is still important. A great spot for recall training. We check fence regularly the best we can and I run 4x4 each morning to try and move out any wildlife. However It is such a large space if your pup does not stick with you. There could be times during day when we may miss if a critter has dug out under fence or branch has fallen. You know your dog(s) so use your best judgement if you feel they will be safe. It really is such an awesome space, we have learned after buying it is actually an old sandstone rock quarry! You will see lots a rocks throughout trails. Please watch steps for rocks and roots on trails. We have a small farmyard with ducks, chickens and pigs. They are fenced in their own area. Main trail in woods comes out behind the farm. If you are unsure of how dogs will react please leash while passing to ensure safety of all. We hope you and your dog(s) have the best time and enjoy 🐾 Hours- because of the way the property is set up we can only regularly open certain times. Regular hours M-F 8am-2pm Saturdays- will be open as we are able to, it will be sporadic as we typically are out working on property or with our dogs on weekends. 😀 thanks!

This place is just too much fun!! We did several rounds of yard time followed by the pool. It was a perfect way to cool off and get extra exercise. The dogs quickly figured out the exit steps! Everything was so clean and thoughtful. My dogs even had fun on the dirt mounds in the back of the yard. Plenty of space for fetch, shaded areas to walk along and hang around as well. The hose is an added bonus! We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely MASSIVE space! The dogs LOVED it. Mega zoomies. I love that we could come back in the summer and try out the pool in for sure saving this one for later! We only made it thru about half an hour of rolling and galivanting before the dogs were trying to load up in the car and head out 😂 we did roll a few ankles in some little holes but aside from that and my escape artist dog trying (and failing) to shove his mass through of the gate it was a delight. I was impressed with how secure the fence was! You can tell they spent a lot of time on getting the bottom super secure. Went with two larger dogs and a shiba that seems to view fences as enrichment puzzles and all were secure! Excited to return with some higher energy dogs. Host gave excellent instructions and I loveeeed that the front was fenced too so if anything happened we were double covered. Will return for sure.

Great spot! Sarah was very communicative before our visit, giving us a heads up that her neighbors were out in their yard in case it would be an issue for our pups. The dogs had a great time! The yard in securely fenced and safe for even smaller dogs. We noticed a hawk circling which is to be expected in the area so we put our long lines on the dogs and hung out in the shade for while just to be extra cautious. Water, treats, and tennis balls were supplied to make the experience even better! We will be back soon!

We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
