The Sniffspot venue is a 3 acre fully fenced area that you and your dog will have unsupervised, exclusive use of for the time that you have booked. There, you will find fresh filtered (RO) water for your canine companions, an abundance of toys, Chuckit balls and launchers, including guest supplies and other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional psychological enrichment at no additional cost. Note: Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to ever interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, stress-free, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions. Thanks to an awesome group of guests who have been with us since first opening the venue, this has been a very rewarding experience. However, there have been, a few guests who have not been doing a very good job of cleaning up after their own dogs which makes it very unpleasant for the guests who come in to the venue next. I have many visitors who pick up dog droppings of other people's dogs and don't say a word, and also return toys and balls to the recepticles, but they shouldn't have to! I actually had a guest say to me once, "Oh, I thought you had people to do that!" No, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves before they leave the field. That's how we keep the venue tidy and affordable! I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. I've had to post a list of reminders at the venue, (thank you, Michele) which I feel terrible about because they're not relevant for the MAJOROTY of Palmhill's guests. It's just a handful of mostly newer guests who aren't being very team friendly. I've met some awesome people and even more so awesome dogs, but sorry to say, if you don't play fair, you will be asked not to come back to this venue. Everyone is welcome including, large groups, highly reactive dogs, special needs dogs- dogs with anxiety, physical handicaps, previous dog park trauma dogs, etc. We love them all and will do our best to make everyone feel welcome! As you arrive, you will park alongside our quiet street on graded dirt that may be slightly uneven in certain areas. You are visiting a residential home. You'll enter the property using the smaller, side gate and walk your pet(s) on a leash along the driveway for about 100 yards (past the deck). You reach a small, white gate to the right. Once you pass through this gate and it is properly latched behind you, you may unleash your pet. There are steps down to the play space. **Most of the land your pet will play on is uneven** **Land is always beautiful, but is green from first rain until May or June, then brown during summer until first rain** **We are fellow dog lovers! During your visit, our dogs will be enclosed uphill and away about 60 feet from the main play space, with two layers of vegetation and fences in between. Their enclosure is located on the far side of the home behind a different fence that cuts off the NW corner of the yard (see photos). The SniffSpot area DOES NOT share a fence with our dogs. You may hear a random bark from them, but that's it. Other details: The rental area is to the right of the driveway and is fenced in by a 3ft fence along two sides, and a 4ft chain link fence on the other two sides. The area is about 3/4 acre. It includes plenty of room for your pup to run, jump and play! There are small hills, trees, and huge boulders. Natural lighting only. Under the second deck there are hammock swings guests may use. Please, no pets on swings. Visitors may also utilize the deck closest to the house, but pets must be leashed on the deck, as it overlooks the play space and is not part of the fenced area. We may or may not be home. We do not typically interact with visitors to maximize your privacy, but would love to meet you if requested! Also check back incase of last minute cancellations. ** Canine Canyon Park is a unique, peaceful, fully-fenced, safe private yard situated in a beautiful canyon with no neighboring yards to worry about (our senior neighbors to the right NEVER use their yard and the other sides are adjacent to the canyon). We are located in central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley, and are easy to access from major freeways including the 15, 8, 163 and 52. Our property is double-fenced, which brings peace-of-mind to our guests. The top patio area, where you will enter and exit, is fully-fenced and secure, as is the lower yard with its own gate. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, on a dead end street. Street parking is always available either right in front of our house or close by. You will have private access through a side gate to our backyard. Dogs love to run up and down the dirt slope in our yard to chase balls and expend their energy. The slope leads to our flat, lower dirt yard which is perfect for your dogs to run free and get their zoomies out! We do have a turf area under the play structure, as well as inside the enrichment area. We provide everything you could possibly need during your visit including lots of balls, Chuck It launchers for fetch, toys, water bowls, a hose, enrichment activities, plenty of seating, shade, a cot for the pups, towels, and more - all of which are included in the base price! We also offer lots of fun upgrades to add-on including a giant ball pit enrichment area, pup ice creams, bubble machine, and a self-service bath station! We are open for early morning visits starting at 6am, and we have plenty of lighting for after dark visits as well! amazing spot! pepper had such a blast in every square inch! everything is set up perfect. nice place for hanging out while watching my girl have the time of her life. so many amazing amenities offered. we felt so comfortable here! i can’t wait to bring pepper and i’m saddened we hadn’t tried this spot sooner. please please give this spot a try. she was even able to accommodate a last minute morning visit for us.

10/10 Would sniff again! First of all, the views are amazing. So much room for activity! Matilda, our reactive foster dog, LOVED having space all to herself where she could run free without any worries. There were a ton of toys, enrichment activities and fun things to do.

Best Sniffspot in town! This spot was expertly designed for dogs of all temperaments to have an amazing time! Whether it was providing plenty of shade for the ones who like to lounge, the trampoline for the ones who love to zoom, and and endless tennis balls for the ones who love to fetch! Also accommodates to the dog owners who love any opportunity for pictures with the cutest seasonal decor! So many opportunities for enrichment and even the reactive pup in our group felt happy and safe here. 10/10 will be returning!

A lot of fun for dogs not to mention my 4 year old son who didn’t even want to leave he enjoyed it so much. They have plenty of clean water for the dogs to drink, a lot of toys for your pet to enjoy and so many balls I couldn’t even count. Booked this spot for my 13 year old Westie’s birthday. He’s old, grouchy and reactive. Going to the dog park is not an option and we don’t have a space at home where he can be free off leash. Sniffspot was the everything we needed! Milo had so much fun, he was all smiles! The space was ideal for our little paw-ty. It’s my first time booking and it was a great experience. Highlights included the ball pit and trampoline. The sun sets beautifully across the cayon. The yard had outdoor string lights that turned on as it was getting darker. It was such a cute vibe. There was even a fall photo opportunity. I loved all the little personal touches like the little free stick library and the kids play structure chalked with the names of all the doggos who visited before. Will definitely be booking with Cindy again. Thank you for sharing your space with us. 🐾

Great sniff spot! My dogs had a fun time running up/down the hill and laying on the trampoline. Although it was super sunny, there was sufficient seating and shaded area available for both people and pups.
