55This is a wonderful spot. My dog enjoyed walking the trails and splashing in the creek. There are some open areas to play fetch. The host provides towels and wipes to help with muddy dog paws. There is also fresh drinking water, toys, and poop bags. We would love to visit again some time. Kristin S.

55This spot is perfect! They provide places to sit, fresh water, toys and so much more. You have a great smaller field area for them to run around and the. Some trails running behind it. Our dogs loved it all and couldn’t get them out of the little creek that runs through the property. It’ll definitely be added to our rotation!Hallie O.

55This is a lovely spot and my dog had a great time zooming on the trails and exploring the creek until we saw a deer on the other side of the fence in the corner of the yard... my pup reacted like it was the biggest squirrel ever and pushed on the fencing and we discovered that the chain link isn't attached on the lower part of the fence to the pole, and she got into the next yard over and was then able to push under the chain link and go chasing the deer! I could get to the next yard over, but not under the fence, so my husband jumped it and went after her. Once we got her back, we kept her on leash for the remainder of the visit. What an adventure! I think securing that corner would be a pretty easy fix, but definitely use caution if you have a strong dog who might want to chase a deer!Chelsea B.

55What a great spot! There are field areas, tree covered areas, winding paths that cross over a bubbling stream. There is a covered structure containing toys, potty bags, hand sanitizer, and a few dog care items. Chairs, sun, shade, and the water is just deep enough for my big dog to wade chest deep in. Loved our time here! Sadie A.

55Great spot. Dogs loved the water and all the trails. Definitely go again! Not the best for balls but they really didn’t care with all the space to run and splash. We will probably take disks next time, easier to find in the brush. J C.

55Very secure fencing and fun trails to wander the property on. We didn’t see or hear any problematic triggers during our visit. Some of the fence line is shared with neighbors, so maybe at times you could encounter people on the other side in their yards. Some of the creek crossing areas were a little challenging for my senior dog, but she managed just fine.
If you have a pup that is reactive to fast moving cars, getting out of the car could be a bit challenging at times as cars really fly up that road. However, once you’re inside, it could be a great spot to safely practice desensitization because part of the field area parallels the road and you can control your distance from the triggers. Just something I thought about as my reactive girl used to really struggle with wanting to chase/bark at cars and I was grateful today that it’s not a struggle for her much anymore.
Awesome spot, and we’ll definitely be back. Katie R.

55A true slice of forest and creekside nature! Lots of space for ball playing, trails and a creek. My dogs loved it! Be aware there are a lot of burrs in the lower field and the trails can be a bit steep and uneven for folks with difficulty walking. We didn’t have an issue though! Lea H.

55This was fantastic! My friend shared this place with me, and we checked it out today. Fully fenced, yard to play, trails, and water too. There were a couple climbing spots for the dogs, over some wood and across and up the water, great! Loved it, and she is an amazing host who has everything you could possibly need available, even bug spray, and since there's water I recommend it. Joell C.

FAQ about our Rainier dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. You can learn more about safety around water here.
How can I find the best dog water parks in Rainier?
There are 18 dog water parks in the Rainier area. The most popular dog water park is Nature in the City Private Dog Park. You can browse all of our dog water parks here.
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
